Thanks, I'll look at that

There are some other graphic problems with the Largest Earth, ludicrous map
with the latest Linux release. I think they are probably related to the in-game freezes
in the Windows version, and quite possibly not a Ynamp issue.

Sometimes the on-screen icons for goody huts disappear.
A scout finds one, a notification appears on the screen, then the hut disappears.
Walking around the area will not claim the goody at that location, even if the scout moves
onto the correct hex.

After saving and reloading the game, the huts are there and can be claimed as usual.
This tends to occur after a longish session, say 100-200 turns, so maybe there are
leaks somewhere.

Apart from that peculiarity, the Civ6 Linux version with Largest Earth, ludicrous-size
(230x116) seems stable with 25 civs, 30 city-states, no barbs.

Unfortunately/fortunately the game is great fun with that size map, so bug hunting is a bit
of a side issue.

the goody hut bug is a strange one !

difficult to say if it's the game's having difficulties with the map size or a problem with the Linux version here. I don't remember it to be reported on the widows/mac version.

I've done a quick implementation of a "TSL" placement option for the Terra Map, using the Giant Earth Map for the TSL data (so that custom civs having a TSL on that map will be placed in the same relative position on the Terra Map, at any map size)

I plan to add a similar option for city naming.

Tested here at Ludicrous Size:

And uploaded on GitHub
Code:
- Add some new map size at 2:1 ratio, which is better for a Terra Map (Giant and Ludicrous were almost at that ratio already)
- Tweaked the "Giant" size to be 184x92 (the Giant Earth Map is still 180x94)
- Tweak Terra Map generation (prevent mountain range to be too large)
- Add code to adapt the TSL data from the Giant Earth Map to the Terra Map at any size

New update on GitHub
Code:
- Add "Old World Only" option for Civilization start location on the Terra Map
- Slightly better placement code when using the "TSL" option on the Terra Map
- Add an option to try to place all luxuries on the map (always ON on the Terra Map and when the old world start option is used the extra luxuries will all be placed on the New World)
- Allows random or "real" (relative to Giant Earth) location for Natural Wonders on the Terra Map
- Fix to the excluded/exclusive resource placement per region option on the Terra Map
- Allow to select "real" city naming. As for Natural Wonders, the mod will try to find the nearest relative position using the Giant Earth as reference

Maybe I'm stupid: I select for example the Giant Earth, but the civilizations remain the vanilla ones; I see the options on the right to change features, but on the left all remain unchanged.

What's the problem?

I play huge earth. Civilization unique resource checked, I choose resource placement map generated. There is always one luxury resource missing (from those available on the map). Is there fix for this?
EDIT: There are also different names for city states. When you see on the map says: Aksum. When you click on it says: Ethiopia.

Isn't that the same for the base game ?

The latest version on github has an option to force the placement of all luxuries resources on the map, whatever its size.

Is it me or do all the Terra maps vaguely resemble the Earth in terms of continent layout?
I thought that was the point of the Terra map, but what kind of alternate layout would you like to see ?

Two pangeas? One oriented east-west (old world), the other north-sud?

Yes.

Not just that, but the New World could even be a group of island plates!

In every case, the Old World is one large landmass.

Thanks, I'll try to add that option, maybe with a few choices for the type of the 2 landmasses

Do all civs start on the same continent in Terra?
Yes if you choose the "old world" placement.

I may add an option to allow some CS on the new world in that case.

Still adding a few options to the Terra Map first.
