YnAMP - Development thread Civ6

Just downloaded the 1.5 upgrade. I couldn't enable both the More CS for the World and the Compatibility updates at the same time. Does one supersede the other or do they have different purposes? I do have both the Aztec and Poland DLC's

Am I missing a setting somewhere during setup, or is "enormous" no longer an option?

Inland Sea on Enormous or bigger crashes for me during loadscreen and I even have memory usage and performance turned down.

I'm not sure what happens really, thought you should know :).. Kinda bums me out as I was hoping it was a tad more... spread out civilization wise because man it is crowded on continents even with only 10 AIs
Inland Sea crashes at anything bigger than huge, yes, it's listed in the known bugs, no idea of what's causing it, I hadn't the time to check that yet.

Yeah I think I misunderstood the initial part of the description. I thought there was an enormous option for the earth map, but now I realize it's a map option for some of the other map types.
 
Jadwiga still blurts out phrases in Portuguese on occasions.

The latest update is truly extraordinary. Fantastic job to everyone involved. Would it also be possible to add religious preferences? For instance, in my latest game, Rome founded Islam. Thanks
 
Hello! Its seems that every time i start to play Play Europe Again all the city states don't load in. Is there a way to have them all load? I know usually it depends on how many civs are in the game, but even when I play with nearly all them they don't seem to load in. The map just feels a little too empty without them all. Thanks!
 
So, first I really like this mod a lot, thanks! Now, when I try to start a game with a map size bigger then “huge” the game crashes back to desktop… when I downloaded the previous version “Alpha .15” that one work fine. I’ll add more details later after I try to run some more test and things but if there was something in particular I can look for to help figure out why Alpha .16 is having issues for me let me know, please.
 
how would i add a starting position for a civilization mod i have? i currently use an Australian Civ....
 
So far I didn't manage to allow building anything on the Cliff, as they are a feature which is removed if for example you build a farm on it.

But I know that you can build mines over forest, I'll have another look.

A city over a feature is not possible AFAIK.


You'll have to look at the database.log and modding.log for errors.


It works for all maps in mods that do not change AssignStartingPlots.lua, and for those that use it, a standalone mod would have the same incompatibility.

Would it be possible to turn it into a type of land like desert, plains, and tundra? So that if you build a farm on it, the farm stats just adds to the tile. Not sure how this affects the wonder property for adjacency. I don't even know how anything works so I'm just blind guessing a solution XD

Are you using one of the Euro ruleset ?

Could you post your lua.log after a crash please ? And maybe modding/database logs

Maybe if the modding tools allow terrain creation.
 
@Gedemon: How do I do that (get the “lua.log” and “modding/database logs”)? When it crashes back to desktop I get a window asking if I would like to send a report back to the developers “Firaxis Games” do I have to download something… ok so I just saw this “How to enable logging” and I will look into it and it could be a few days too before I get to it.
 
See "how to" on first page, IIRC you don't need to enable logging for those three files.

p.s. Thanks for all the work you are doing on this map/mod. I've played Civ 6 almost every day since release only because of your maps.

I'd like to see your lua, modding and database logs if possible, after you've launched Civ6 and tried to activate both mods.

Once I have the text log what is the best way to send it to you?
 
I'm having issues with the Play Europe Again map. The city screen names don't show up. The only other mods i'm playing with are Moar units and Red modpack resizing.

Anyone else seeing this? I can post a screenshot if you want to see what I mean.

I also unchecked "Real city naming" and "enforce TSL" issue persisted.
 
Version 0.16 is working smoothly on GEM, ludicrous size, with most of the same settings
the same as I have been playing from the very first version.
If anything, it seems to be running a little bit faster than 0.14 and 0.15.

Yes, I need the file just after a crash, because it's overwritten when launching civ again. If you can't attach it to your post, give me a link to a hosting site.

How much Video RAM do you have ?
 
hi, start of by saying amazing mod Gedemon, i love the large Europe map, I was wondering if you will be putting the Natural Wonder Giants Causeway from the DLC, Vikings content' in to northern ireland, Would be great if you could,
