What was your first car? Mine was a two-door red Honda Civic, my cousin's old car. My second one was a Mitsubishi Lancer, and my third a Nissan Primera. I got another Honda for my fourth, a sweet red-leathered Honda Prelude :cool:

Was? It still is!

Although this isn't exactly my car. Imagine it has these rims and that'll be my car;

My first car was second-hand and very unusual:

Matra Bagheera
The Bagheera's body was made of polyester, mounted on a steel structure. It was formed in the shape of a sleek hatchback, with a rear hatch that allowed access to the engine mounted behind the passenger compartment. There was only one row of seats, but it featured an unusual combination of three abreast. The Bagheera remains one of the few three-passenger sports cars

1993 Honda Accord coupe. I loved it.

^ that's it!

What I drive now

First car you actually purchased yourself or first car you got to drive as if it was your own?

If the latter, my "first car" was a Mazda MPV. Yup. Sup chicks.

1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Baby blue...and like 14 feet long. Man I loved that car, even though it was a total POS, even in 2004.

First car that was actually "just mine" was a 2006/2007 Chevrolet Corsa. You know, the type of car that in the USA might be mistaken for a supermarket cart.

The engine was 1.0 with 82 HP. It ran both on gasoline and ethanol or any mix of the two.

And you think that was cheap? Well, in Taxland (aka Brazil) it cost me exactly R$ 33,000 (about 19,500 USD). Over 50% of the cost is composed of taxes.

Pic (not of my car, but of an identical model of the same color) :

'87 Honda Prelude. Wife wrecked it. Replaced it with a '91 Honda Prelude. Wife got that in the divorce. Decided Hondas were bad luck, replaced it with a Jeep (which died on the NJ Turnpike), a no-option Toyota Corolla (which died in my office parking lot), and then two Fords both of which are still operational.

Triumph TR3.

My first car was sort of a hand me down: my sister bought it during her teen years, and when she married a good ol' boy with three or four vehicles, hers was a bit redundant so she "sold" it to my dad for a few hundred. It was a 1989 Nissan Sentra, grey, and I drove it until 2006 when it broke down on an interstate and was stolen after I left to find a way to tow it home. I remember it fondly for its gas mileage, but my current vehicle (1996 Buick Century) has a working radio, not to mention heating and cooling systems. My Buick is "mine": I paid for it while working at a factory.
