What are the hardest 5 Bosses in video games you have seen fought and have fought yourself?

(I have bolded the bosses I've fought)

5:Origin Form Giratina(Pokemon Platinum):This guy is a hard guy to catch at this stage of the game. You can spend a lot of time to try and catch him or kill him and catch him later,His moveset includes Ominous Wind and Ancient Power to increase his stats,His unique move,Shadow Force for a 2-Turn move and Dragon Claw for general killing.

4:Shadow Queen(Paper Mario:The 1,000 year door):She can raise her own stats and steal HP.
Spoiler :

3:Sephiroth(Kingdom Hearts):Although he is optional as a boss,he is required for 100% completion, and boy is he fast.Having a 7 Foot long sword doesn't help your case either. He can also use an attack that cuts your HP to 1,and He'll usually use an attack after this.
Spoiler :

2:Tabuu(Super Smash Bros. Brawl):You don't have to do the Subspace Emissary, but you'll end up doing it anyway because Smash Bros. never had a storyline before. You fight Tabuu at the end of the Great Maze.He can teleport, fire giant lasers out of his eyes and has 2 OHKO attacks.

1:Queen Larsa(Mushihimesama Futari)This boss is the final boss in Mushihimesama Futari. The link has the video of her being fought. It doesn't help that she has 2 more forms on the hardest level. Also the pink and purple things are enemy bullets!

Hmmmm, General RAAM from GoW1 on the hardest difficulty almost ended me. I had to get a friend to help me cause the AI was just stupid.

Same went for The Mana Beast in Secret of Mana. I needed a friend to be there.

Oddly enough the Demon Wall from the Temple of the Ancients in FFVII took me ages, but that was mainly due to me not leveling up and trying to rush through the game.

1. Dark Gaia (Sonic Unleashed) : This is a long ass boss battle, rotating between short running - and timed - segments, flying towards him avoiding flaming boulders from hell, and then finally, after all the running, sweating, dodging and timed button taps, you have to go on to PERFECT Dark Gaia. Who wouldn't be so hard, except you have to make sure
Spoiler :
Light Gaia
doesn't die on you, or you die too. Damned snake heads... And then after ALL THAT, you have to press the X Button 60 times in like 30 seconds or die. Overall, a very time-consuming, very epic battle. The music for Perfect Dark Gaia makes up for the whole thing though. <3

Spoiler :

2. Xemnas (Kingdom Hearts II) : Very last time you fight him. His guard attacks are a pain in the ass as they tend to keep making
Spoiler :
Sora
die. x__x It's more epic if you include the numerous other things you have to do as part of this boss. A multi-part final battle, much like Dark Gaia above.

3. King Arthur(Sonic and the Black Knight) : HATE HATE HATE this guy. You have to time your attacks perfectly, all the while dodging his fricken attacks in between the face-to-face combat. Fortunately, you only have to beat him in two face-to-face rounds to win. Once more, the music makes up for it:

Spoiler :

4. Maleficent Dragon(Kingdom Hearts): Oh god. This battle gives me nightmares. She's annoying as hell, I've often had to use unorthodox tactics(such as hiding on the walls of the stage) to beat her. ...Once more, at least the music is neat, though it isn't as special because it's not reserved especially for this battle.

5. Tabuu. Haahaa. Yes. I hate this dude too.

Those weren't all in any particular order, but.. a general rule is, Sonic bosses aren't too hard usually, they just tend to take a LOT of time to get right. ...Especially the likes of King Arthur and Dark Gaia... x__x

"The Butcher is a sadistic creature that delights in the torture and pain of others."

Tabuu was pretty easy you guys...

Ok, off the top of my head and not counting stupid secret super mega bosses. More than 5 though, I know :p

Xemnas (Kingdom Hearts II)
Spikey (Secret of Mana)
Rat Mage (Secret of Evermore)
Progenitor (Turok 2)
Mad Jack (Donkey Kong 64)
Sigma (Mega Man X)
Necro (Final Fantasy 9)
Orgodemir (Dragon Warrior 7)
Dhoulmagus [both phases at once] (Dragon Quest 8)
Weigraf/Velius (Final Fantasy Tactics)!!!!
Salvaring (Quest 64)

What levels have you beaten him on?

What levels have you beaten him on?

Normal. I think I lost once because I didn't know his attack patterns, but he isn't as tough as any of those bosses I listed. Maybe a little tougher than your average boss but...not all-time hair pulling out tough.

Oh god! I forgot to mention HIM! Even after all these years, he remains one of the hardest old bosses for me to beat. x___x I blame the many weapons in his arsenal, and the fact it's easy to die by falling into that river of.... pee?

I mean, I think the Final Hazard remains difficult after all this time too (mainly because he spams lasers), but the Biolizard always has remained one of the most evil bosses for me to face, and he's the reason I've never completed the SA2 challenge to beat all the Hero, Dark and Last Story bosses...

Hell difficulty Diablo (in D2) was damn hard until they patched that game into oblivion. They made the characters too strong so they had to add more "bosses" to counter it, rather than nerf the character immensely as needed to be done.

Well, I never actually got to fight it, but I can't look past The Sleeper.

It have be the second act of Diablo 2. IIRC I would open a portal gate in front of the entrance and then I would keeping running in and summoning Skeletons and busting it with any magic spells and I will keep doing this until it die. I did this because there no other way I could beat it.

I can't forget the ace of clubs in Mercenaries what a pain the ass.

Any Boss in MGS2 on European Extreme. Fatman especially.

I don't know if it was the hardest boss, but the one that gave me the most anxiety was the Butcher from Diablo. I was something like ten when I first played it, and I was expecting the first boss to be quite easy in a game that had so far posed no challenge.

I opened the door, saw a... rather grotesque scene (to put it very lightly), heard a startling voice "ahh, fresh meat" and preceded to die in four seconds.

"Boss" creatures are unimpressive to me in general (I mean there should be better ways of building a video game), but the hardest one I can think of right now is the one at the end of Shadow Warrior. I think Zilla was his name.

Aaah yesss.... Zilla... The only way I was able to beat him was by nuking him, then using my entire Ripper Heart inventory (If 2 Wangs better than one, then FIVE Wangs WAY better! ;) ), after which I unloaded my heaviest weapons on him while he was distracted by my 5 clones whupping up on him.

Most of the bosses in the DooM games (original DooM, that is) were pretty damn hard, especially the Cyber-daemon, which was not only 30 ft tall with almost unlimited HP, but it also happened to SHOOT FRIGGIN' 1-HIT KILL ROCKETS AT YOU THE WHOLE TIME YOU WERE FIGHTING IT!

I found an area in Super Mario World that is hard but has a VERY EASY boss. The 2nd Castle I hated because of the Dry Bones everywhere and at the area close to the top moving Spikes.Morty Koopa himself is a 3-hit wonder that can be killed powerup-less.

I killed him with just a bunch of rockets. It took a total of 3 hours of playing due to constant reloading.

The 5 hardest I've beaten:

5. Hu Lao Gate Lu Bu - Dynasty Warriors
4. Tholapsyx - Neverwinter Nights 2
3. Laughing Octopus - Metal Gear Solid 4
2. Woman In Purple - Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
1. Yunalesca - Final Fantasy X
