YuiNES III - End of an Era

From: Ireland
To: Norway-Scotland

Will your leniency is admirable, your people have not bled for centuries under the oppression of the English for centuries. We will allow the traitor Neil
and his family to leave Ireland for your court alive, if he us willing to renounce all claims to Connacht and urge, in writing, that his followers are ordered to recognize me as their new, and only, King of Ireland. That is the only leniency we can grant.

I should like to claim the Kingdom of Denmark, if that's alright?

Certainly. Lord of Elves, please forward all diplomacy to Eltain now.

Are you still handing out national goals, or no? I'd surely like mine, if so.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what national goals are.

Sorry, I must've misunderstood something, somewhere along the line.

Here is a map of our proposed peace. Accept it or suffer a greater loss.

To: King Connor III, King of Ireland

Dear Brother, he has already given up his Kingdom, we asked only that he retain his personal estates.

To: Tre and Kolo Republics

Of course, will provide such priests as you require. Go with God.

Very sorry, don't have time to get immersed into this NES.

All hail, noble sovereign of Ireland. We urge you to have mercy on your opponent and let him keep his own lands in accordance with the King of Norway's suggestion, and allow him and his descendents to be your loyal vassal for ever, and to allow him vow his continued vassalage before our almighty Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The receipt of mercy is surely the best guarantee of loyalty, and the giving of mercy will be to your utmost advantage when our Lord judges the living and the dead on Judgement Day.

From: Magnus IX, King of the United Kingdom of Scotland-Norway
To: King Connor III, King of Ireland

CCC: His Holiness Pope Pius V

Loyal vassal at a convenient distance and under our eyes may we add.

I'm sorry Magnus, but I simply cannot let Neil retain his estates

That's fine, we'll give him some of ours. As long as we agree to keep him alive. We did give our word and would be very nonplussed if we were forced to renege on it.

That the Irish can agree to.

Sorry about the lateness on the update everyone. It's in progress right now, and should be done by tomorrow. The thing is, besides laziness, I have football from 7:00-12:30 everyday, and thus don't get home till about one. And I can't just pull an all-nighter and do it then, unfortunately because I need to be wide awake for practice. So I'm working on it, but hey, it wouldn't be a NES without at least one late update.

Don't give up on me quite yet. I have everything (stats and map included) done except the English-French war.
