ZPNESIV ~ Transcendent Curiosity

Orders for today.

Take one of the planets, try to create primitive plants on it. Also evolve the one-celled creatures as much as possible. Give all the planets a stable yet liveable climate.

Oh and... how many planets are there? and are you allowed to name them?

Quitting as Karadan- so far I see only one fun course of action, and for him it would be utterly OOC.

Areiole (Abaddon) - you find that the universe has selected the atmosphere of Lupus as your point of arrival. You first exist as subtle waves of quantum energy flowing through the warm, moist clouds. Perhaps intentionally, your interactions help life to begin here. Where to, now?
-
Status: Localised energy construct
Affinity: atmospheric manipulation*

Consolodate the atmosphere. Maintain a VERY high moisture content. 90% of Lupus should have shallow, tropical seas. Boyant and floating algae constructs dominate the atmosphere.

Lupus is my life energyform, planets are unnamed ;)

Ooo.. well, Dafty, translate what I said as in the planet, I wouldn't want to enforce moisture on ol' NorWal here ;)

Well, I have been naming planets and stuff after the player 'entities'. You can of course give your own names for planets and stuff. By the way @Abaddon (Areiole), that planet is a gas giant, no seas, only cloud x0r!

@Dragonson (Khuqua), when I update I will make one of those planet charts for your star system.

@Everyone,

I Will update within 48 hours. Any more orders must be sent NAO!11!110!

Also may I please remind you all of this (thanks those who have been doing this: )

IMPORTANT REQUEST:

In future, could you all please include your in-game alias (if different to your forum name) at the top of any posts containing orders or any In-Context communications. This should make it a little easier for everyone to know what is actually going on. Thankyou

Wait, no solid land? How does such a thing even exist? Anyway, no about seeding it with algae/ameba etc

Nihil's Orders

The dense walls of the event horizon shall act as my fortress. Merge with the singularity and explore this crushing realm. (store energy)

Journey's Orders

Journey will travel wherever he feels like going.

(Move around a bit and store energy)

Point of Reference #4

ZPNESIVMap4.png

Automata (Thlayli) - the energy of Neinom rises against you. It has greater resonance with this world. Asteroids, tectonics and climate all work against you. As you skip through the eons, your war of biology shows hints of success. Rapid evolution occurs. But the end result is a world of lifeforms resonating with Neinom's essence. Collectivity is broken ; You lose focus, exiled and drifting...
-
Status: undefined
Affinity: organic chemistry x3*

Neinom (merciary) - you are victorious, but your biology bounds ahead uncontrolled. Oxygen builds up in the oceans ; a substance poisonous to the earlier, innocent ones. They seek refuge in hidden places. Calamities strike the planet's surface ; multi-celled life emerges to claim the sunlight. But this is now a tangled food-web of predators and usurpers. Parasitic methods of reproduction are common. Each species wields its own single-celled parasites as weapons against others.
-
Status: Planet
Affinity: organic chemistry x3*, core manipulation
Basic Lifeforms: Hungryscum (durable, toxic, carnivorous), Deathblossom (versatile, parasitic, photosynthesisers)
Intermediate Lifeforms: Red Swimmers (parasitic, filter-feeder, mobile), Hydrasponges (collective, regenerative, toxic, filter-feeder)

Neiquat4.png

Quatana (TerrisH) - you create more trouble. You have many ideas, but your focus is divided. Nothing works out as planned. You push and pull at planets in your system - some smaller moons tumble out of their orbits and fall inwards towards the central sun. You try to draw planets from other stars - all you get are asteroids and comets, some of which crash into Neinom and yourself. You try to make your planet more welcoming of these carbon-based lifeforms - it is a slow process. Your efforts to create a space-bound plant result in some hardy living cells on your two planetoid moons.
-
Status: Planet
Affinity: water, planet formation, gravity*, organic chemistry*
Basic Lifeforms: Ventblobs (durable, chemical converters), Spinoblobs (durable, collective, photosynthesisers), Drifters (versatile, chemical converters), Green Drifters (versatile, photosynthesisers)

Mask of Phobos (tuxedohamm) - much experimentation. You cast the one known as 'Orb' through to your other side. Portions of Khnosos and Journey are sent back and forth. But the energy of others is difficult to overcome ; Your final target is the sleeping black hole, 'Petro'. Something strange happens when you merge with it. You become open-ended. There are no equations to describe you now. Many possibilities.
-
Status: localised time-space anomaly
Affinity: high energy physics x3*, time-space tunnelling x2*

Khnosos (Seon) - you are able to disentangle yourself from Mask of Phobos. You also release Boriss from your grasp. Your focus is then drawn towards a new star, with a planet that will eventually be suitable for carbon-based life - such is the trend. But for now you are interested in creating huge caverns beneath the surface. As soon as the young planet has cooled off, you see to it that crystalline forms appear within. There are similarities with Karadan ; perhaps echoes of its crystalline-lifeforms are finding resonance here. Some of your former nebula home is lost ; the rest protectively wraps itself around the new star.
-
Status: Star
Stored Energy +2
Affinity: high energy physics, subtle energy manipulation, planet formation*, delicate matter*

igae (Lord_Iggy) - you are born from a splintered limb of Khnosos. Disturbed filaments of consciousness re-combine as igae. For now you exist in a peaceful state of observation and reflection.
-
Status: Nebula
Affinity: subtle energy manipulation x2*

Nihil (hbar) - you rest within the singularity, exploring its structure. You are both caged and guarded by the one known as Thom. Shall you remain here?
-
Status: Localised energy construct
Stored Energy +1*
Affinity: space-time distortion, gravity*

Thom (thomas.berubeg) - you become a spherical shell of energy surrounding the event-horizon of Nihil, which rests beneath. You capture incoming energy. More and more... Your tendrils reach out to nearby stars, old creations of Fuschia ; Still resonating with foreignness, but not immune to your touch, they begin change ; Some kind of mutual exchange? Your energy is getting out of control now, crying out for transformation. Will you continue in this form?
-
Status: Localised energy construct
Stored Energy +3*
Affinity: subtle energy manipulation*

funny-pictures-cat-enters-univer-1.jpg

Fuschia - enough turmoil. Now you build sheltered habitats. As you desire, each one is varied - a volcanic-warm ocean beneath a crust of ice, a planet kept warm and humid by a thick atmosphere, germs growing in a sea of hydrocarbons, and more besides. You watch and wait. Is this satisfactory?
-
Status: Star
Affinity: high energy physics, star formation, planet formation, atmospheric manipulation*, core manipulation*, gravity

Eirikkr (Kraznaya) - "release the light and plunge my spear through the darkness". Your energy responds to these thoughts. It finds something darker than normal. But a tentative poke at Nihil-Thom just seems to be absorbed ; Your energy recoils, perhaps waiting for a grander opportunity.
-
Status: undefined
Stored Energy +2*
Affinity: none

Karadan4.png

Karadan (Neverwonagame3) - you shift focus away from the planet 'Moravia', to the red-orange star you call 'Wallachia'. From this vantage point, and with a burst of energy, you instigate organic life in a couple of places in this system, including you old home, Moravia - will the crystalline forms survive this change? Meanwhile, another part of your awareness looks for an isolated free-floating planet. It finds several candidate objects, none too far away. But you would have to leave your current home to experiment...
-
Status: Star
Affinity: delicate matter, gravitation, organic chemistry x2*

Mreset (Matt0088) - a time for rest and contemplation. You watch events in local space, and much further beyond. You home seems safe for now. Your strange lifeforms coexist agreeably. They evolve slowly and playfully.
-
Status: Planet
Stored Energy +2*
Affinity: chemistry, core manipulation, matter-energy conversion
Basic Lifeforms: Dendrachains (collective, regenerative, chemical converters), Gigatrunks (large, photosynthesisers, chemical converters), Requesterers (versatile, symbiotic, chemical converters)
Intermediate Lifeforms: Reanderers (crawling, sensitive, omnivorous)
Exotic Lifeforms: Cryptic Mites (social, intelligent, flying, matter-energy converters)

Phil (Condor_green) - a new generation of QuickSilver Mites become experts at riding the ionic bond with Mreset. Over time their forms merge with the first 'mutants' on Mreset. Now all are one family, although there is a lot of variety within. Chased by the dangerous 'QuickSilver Frogs', some begin to spend more time in the upper atmospheres of both planets. Some brave ones even begin to ride waves of radiation, heading towards other planets. Perhaps a few are now drifting into deep space, sleeping, heading for other stars... These voyagers seem to be sending energy back to you, somehow.
-
Status: Planet
Stored Energy +1*
Affinity: heavy matter, heat, non-biological life x2*
Exotic Lifeforms: QuickSilver Frogs (durable, sensitive, fast, exoticovorous), Cryptic Mites (social, intelligent, flying, matter-energy converters)

Essencelessism (lord_joakim) - "I know what I see - I see the value white torched in the darkness, the value black it is written upon, the value of the signatures upon them." You exist.
-
Status: undefined
Stored Energy +2
Affinity: consciousness x2*

'i' (Kentharu) - your child star 'iBen' draws energy from the wake of Journey. Instability strikes again ; iBen explodes, but a compact core remains, blasting radiation into space from its spinning and tumbling poles. Your other child 'iTom' experiences turbulence, radiation and asteroid impacts. Yet interesting things appear on some of its planets - Swirling clouds, oceans of liquid ; strange chemicals try to assemble themselves. From your vantage point in the in the surrounding nebula, you gently bend and shape the energised interstellar gas to shield your children.
-
Status: Nebula
Stored Energy +1*
Affinity: star formation, planet formation x2*, subtle energy manipulation*

Khuqua4.png

Khuqua, The Overseer (Dragonson) - the children of 'i' disturb you. Your plans for life suffer setbacks ; waves of radiation strike your planets. But eventually you find peace, sheltered behind the protective nebula. Living things stir on several different spheres ; climates are conductive to life, but this looks like a long process. Should you focus on speeding things up on one particular planet, or continue to guide all of them?
-
Status: Star
Affinity: planet formation*

Journey (Vertinari118) - you fly across the galaxy, far from your old haunts. After crossing a relatively empty and boring zone, you seem to be entering into another spiral-arm. New things surround you.
-
Status: Massive exotic energy form
Stored Energy +3*
Affinity: high energy physics, subtle energy manipulation

Lupus (Northen Wolf) - soulspirit continues to slumber on its moon. It does not cooperate. You desire a predator to stir evolution into action. You have to make one yourself ; It is surprisingly easy. The one known as Aeriole now shares this place with you. It helpfully tweaks the atmosphere to allow more interesting lifeforms to appear. All is going well until a great flash ; The nearby Blue Giant reaches the end of its life. Despite your best efforts to protect yourself, powerful waves of energy break through. It could have been worse - the one known as Journey seems to absorb some of the blast as it passes by. Your atmosphere is scarred and altered, although not entirely for the worse. Some life survives and adapts. Your home star is free to go its own course now.
-
Status: Planet
Affinity: gravity, atmospheric manipulation x2*, water, organic chemistry*
Basic Lifeforms: Scarcells (durable, airborne, chemical converters), Cloudanemone (airborne, sensitive, filter-feeder), Proto-Cloudalgae (collective, airborne, photosynthesisers)

Areiole (Abaddon) - you shape the cloudforms to your liking. You keep the atmosphere moist. Your own living creations are destroyed in a great flash. But you encourage Lupus's lifeforms throughout all the turmoil, and are rewarded with some kind of energy feedback. Lupus seems at ease with you - but will you remain here?
-
Status: Planet
Stored Energy +1*
Affinity: atmospheric manipulation x2*

Ui (Ninja Dude) - you trace the unknown entities back to their source - a planet near the centre of the galaxy, which looks like it has been completely consumed by artificial constructs - 'machinery' - mixed with some kind of crystalline life forms. This planet has a singular consciousness. It does not seem hostile. You watch the scouts move through local-space, but they commit no offence, other than being nosey.
-
Status: Localised energy construct
Stored Energy +1*
Affinity: subtle energy manipulation, remote impulse x2, non-biological life*

NPC DIPLO:

From: ORB
To: Igae

"My awareness is limited. Are you food? Permission to replicate?"

NOTES:

The sleeping ones exist in a state of uncertainty. Stats will be revealed if they are active again. Currently soulspirit (Metaliturtle) and Boriss (Charles Li) are inactive. Inactive energy will be recycled eventually.

Stored Energy will not be used unless you say so.

Exact stats for lifeforms will no longer be shown unless you are playing as a planet.

I have decided to use my own custom words like 'exoticovorous'.

I ran out of time for doing graphics. More may be added later.

@Neverwonagame3, I updated Karadan before I read your message about quitting. Hope you don't mind it being in this update.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Please put your in-game name (if different to your forum name) at the top of any posts containing orders or any In-Context stuff. This is so we all know who or what you actually are in this game, without having to look it up. :salute:

Automata:

Continued wave-function in cohesion with irreverent entity is unacceptable.

Retreat to non-localized space. Create self-replicating, dendritic mesh of interdependent parasites in dimensional pocket. Seed massive asteroid with these organisms in dormant state.

Crash asteroid into the surface of Neinom's planet. Rupture his tectonic control and cast him into the dark.

Mask of Phobos

Orders:
It moves toward the energy of other beings. It focuses Its energy into Its own complex structure to test the limits of reality.

From: Quatana
To Automata:
wow, neat, cool. planet gettign borring, space better, more inturesting. more posibilities. more stuff to do. will be moving to star, more energy to us, you want planet?

to strange ships:
oh nifty! how you work, what you do, where you from? where are you going? do you want to play?

nah, man, I was offering you a place to chill, a pad to devlop away from Neinom. life bearring world freeing up, man, and you seem inturested in this life stuff, man.

Orders Phil.

The QuickSilver frogs begin capturing and storing the Cryptic Mites. Some Quicksilver frogs follow the Cryptic Mites into Mreset by encasing themselves in the dense matter with enough Cryptic mites to survive the joiurney through the Ionic bond. Though only a few Quicksilver frogs survive the landing those that do. Reproduce, Eat, Evolve.

The Cryptic Mites continue to land in farther and farther planets. Sampling the matter and sending it back via ionic bond. They heavily colonise Neinom drawn by the matter found on the surface.

Phil begins playing with magnetics(-1 energy) Phil tries to create floating masses of rocks that ecosystems can survive on.
