Urban Units: We need more!

We need more units for urban mods! There's a huge (ok that's an exaggeration) untapped modding potential in urban type scenarios but we sadly lack a range of relevant unit graphics. So this is my plea for more urban units.

FOOT:
In general any urban-paramilitary unit would be a nice addition. Even taking some military units removing their helmet and cutting the sleeves off their uniforms, changing the trouser color to blue (jeans) would be a decent compromise to making a new unit but is this possible via cut 'n' paste?

If we're talking specifics for new units then top of my wish list would be:

* Petrol bomber (nice unit with a bombard range of 1 for setting zombies on fire).
* Hell's Angel type biker (not on his bike of course) with a chain or knife as a weapon.
* Policeman with a hand gun for shooting bad guys.
* Machine gun toting granny.

* A javelineer-type guy in a suit, throwing pencils (as opposed to a javelin!).
* A guy in a suit with a flamethrower - for a sort of "Bring your suit to work day" feeling.
* A "Hacker" - a fat, middle-aged guy with a laptop.
* The Angry Customer - So that the public don't have to use the warrior. Armed with a Baseball bat and a brick...
* The Very angry Customer - So that the public don't have to use the Berserk. Typical weaponry would be 2x4 w/ Barbed wire.
* Office Workers: eg. guy on an office chair, fat security guard, secretary who's attack involves calling for the security guard!
* Various assassin-type people - with anything you can think of. A good death would be to drink some poison.
* Nuns, cultists, hooded fanatics, etc. -fairly self-explanitory.
* Farmers. - Anyone who can work on a farm. Preferably some Amish people, too. they'd be helpful.

* Grungy child/refugee A modern, dirty child...can attack with slingshot for humor, or throw rocks
* Hobo Dirty guy, maybe with a shopping cart, who throws bottles

* Yakuza/Asian Buisnessman Black suit...attacks with Katana...Commits Sepuku(sp?) as death

VEHICLES:
There's a sad lack of suitable vehicles for motorized mayhem in urban type scenarios. We have the Car Bomb and Motorised Guerilla units but where's the Combat buses and Killdozers. Here's my wishlist for starters:

* The Killdozer based on a real life man made invention: http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=143648
* The Armoured School bus (School children optional).
* The Armoured Tractor.
* Any vehicle really with hood mounted guns/rockets, tire shredders, oil sprays.
* Motor Bike for the Hell's Angel type biker (above).
* Motor Bike with side car occupant armed with mounted machine gun.

* Car - any car, with attacks ranging from angry fists waving out of the window, to knifes being hurled out, to guns getting fired.

* Sports Car - fairly self explanitory, a fast-moving transport.
* Limo - For the Mayor, and other important people. It could have smaller protection-cars in front of it.
* Security Vans, Moving Vans, etc.
* Construction Vehicles: Bulldozer, Cement Mixers, etc. Anything that can be used on a building site.
* Farm Vehicles:Anything that can work on a farm.

Ok, I've made a start compiling links to existing units on the first post.

By real SWAT I think you mean bullet proof vest types with guns rather than baton wielding riot police. Am I right? I use Balou's Peacekeeper for this unit type - not ideal but workable. I absolutely agree - we need these urban units.

Someone was working on a SWAT officer, I think it was one of the same people who made riot police.

Yes. The two existing police units are both Riot Police wielding nonlethal weapons.

I use Balou's Peacekeeper for this unit type - not ideal but workable.

well I've had some recent practice making a motorcycle unit so the police shouldn't be too difficult... but still busy with SOE. although I am almost done with that

That's great news Wyrm. I'd really like to see the van and the car. I know you've stated there's not much scope for animating them (attack etc.) but I'd still find a use for them.

Can you post a pic of the kind of unit you're after or describe it more. The SWATs that are embedded in my memory are from Hill Street Blues - an ancient cop show (80s) and I'm sure equipment and uniform have moved on from then. I suppose the closest we have in Britain is an Armed Response Unit but I've never had the "pleasure" of seeing those.
