Here's the thread where I'll post my Dacian units, as time goes on. First up is a Dacian Swordsman, previewed a long while ago:

Suggested stats: Perhaps a just a cheaper Swordsman?

Some points and problems to note:

-I'd had this unit animated since Christmas. Finding the time to render and do the post-render stuff has been hard, though...

Suggested stats are the same as the Spearman, maybe slightly cheaper but with a 1H.P. malus.

Thats great Virote!! I'll use it for the Thracian civ in my mod.
Could you make a similar Spearman? And I dont know if they ever used bronze armor, but an armored spearman or swordsman would also be great, hypothetical or not.
 
I love the amount of detail in the shield pattern.
 
Very nice! Looks like a very authentic recreation of a Dacian shield.

@ 96nn - Bactrians were from the modern Afghanistan area, Dacians frmm the modern Romanian area. They're not too similar I don't think.

Being hyper-critical, the feet appear to stay planted on the ground on the death anim.
 
Right on, Dacians are super cool!

What's the handguard he's got on his sword? Looks almost like a basket hilt type dealie.
