Filling the gap at last between the Oda Arquebusier and the Menjii Rifleman is my first working poser unit...enjoy!

Update: I've reuploaded the unit. It now works in game totally.... :)

Wow, Geddon... I'm impressed! :goodjob:

That death is really unique. All the animations are, actually. I especially like the victory.

Great unit, Sword_of_Geddon!

OdintheKing: I was going for the anime-ish slow motion death thing, but I can see I got something else entirely..lol

Redalert: Thankyou Red... :) You must have flicster to be able to see the animations... :)

Thankyou Bhiita and La_dav and you to Topgun, Spacer One, Supa and Hrafnkell. Your appreciation of my work means alot to me.

Well, to tell the truth I only have Jasc Animation Shop :mischief:
It does the trick, but I would like to get flicster or something eventually, if only just to experiment.

That's an interesting walk animation. Has a nice arrogant swagger. It's as if he really means business. ;)

Excellent stuff for one of your first units. The walk is fabulous. The death is a lot of fun too.

Two points that I'd make - I think you should animate the "default" stance if possible. If you look at the Firaxis units you'll notice that they all sway very slightly as they stand, just to add a bit of interest. And I'm not convinced by the "attack" animation, which seems to involve waving his gun at the enemy rather than firing. It might be better to have the gun move less and put in a flash or cloud of smoke or something like that - if you can, as I understand things like that are tricky. The Firelancer by Dom Pedro has the most awesome effect of this kind that I've seen!

But those niggles aside, I think this is one of the best "first units" I've seen here... You'll be getting plenty of requests, I'm sure!
