Hope you like this :

troglo_ma.jpg

This is inspired by troglodytic cities in Cappadocia ( central Turkey ). This city is special because it doesn't get larger. It just digs more and more caves in hills.

These cities won the April 2006 PCX contest !

Looks great, and as said, original.:)

Actually, the french word "troglodyte" has no negative connotation. I just translated it and didn't though further.

Here's the AHD defintion:

1a. A member of a fabulous or prehistoric race of people that lived in caves, dens, or holes. b. A person considered to be reclusive, reactionary, out of date, or brutish. 2a. An anthropoid ape, such as a gorilla or chimpanzee. b. An animal that lives underground, as an ant or a worm.

Of course, a form of the word also occurs in the scientific name of the chimp: Pan troglodytes.
