Hello Everyone!
I've put together some title screens that (i think) work really well,
and (i hope) will set the mood for your next Civ marathon.

I've tested them all to make sure that they work in the game,
and that the selection menu can be easily seen, for each one of them.

I really hope you enjoy them.

The images were from a couple of different sites that had various old Maritime paintings.
 
I usually don't reply to title screen threads, but these are lovely. Good job. :)
 
Same here Drift; I don't normally post in title screen threads, but these are really excellent. The only problem is....which one do I use :confused: ?They're all brilliant :goodjob:

Now we just need Firaxis to let us use these kind of screens for the opening of Civ3 scenarios/mods rather than to replace the "only" original generic game one. :(

Im gone for the weekend, but when I get back, I will be converting them to PTW, and regualr Civ III for all.

Question for anyone: Is there any kind of a program available that can display random title screens for C3C?

Jobiwan7: yes I can do Star Wars screens for you, If you'd like...do you have any sites you would recommend for reference? Im a little rusty with S.W. these days.

Supa: Ironically, I dont really use Naval exploration in C3C. Im usually too busy on land, and dont mess with the ocean until I have amphibious capabilities. ;) But I think these screens really evoke a mood of conquest, or desparate exploration.
