1920 NES
Hello and welcome to the first NES starting at 1920 with a true and acurrate map!
BTW This is a BIG NES with moe than 30 NPC's I think, so don't annoy me about updates they will be from 1 per day to 1 per 3 days, somthimes even more
Now for rules:
The main countries, as you will see in the nations list are kinda weak... VERY weak. but after all, just 2 years ago they fought a world war.
Japan have grown strong after taking German holdings easily in the pacific and have not suffered any major losses.
The USA began a strict policy of non intervention, and near total isolationism; in spite of this they created the League of Nations which the declined to enter leaving the British Empire and French Republic as leading members.
Germany, the loser of the war has been heavily penalised by the unfair and restrictive Versailles Treaty, as part of this treaty Germany was forced to abandoning its Monarchy and create a Republic; based out of WEIMAR, it naturally became known as the Weimar Republic.
The Russian Empire was forced out of the war by a Bolshevik uprising lead by Lenin and his two followers Stalin and Trotsky, together they created the USSR as a new Communist regime. Lenin has died leaving Stalin and Trotsky to fight it out over the General Sectariat of the Soviet union.
Britian supposed the main victor in the war was left wracked by civil wars and rebellions in its colonies; having to deal with upstart colonies who are trying to assert their independence is a priority for the Empire.
France scored a massive but very costly victory in the defeat of Germany, however the heaviest of fighting in europe was in North-East France, the industrial heartland of France. Because of this French infrastructure has all but been destroyed and they are struggling to rebuild, as such they are heavily dependant on the regular payment of reparitions by Germany.
What more will happan? will the natzis come to power in 1930? will Italy become fascist in 1922? Will the french invade ruhr again in 1923? what will happan? will World War II be revived or will never come?!

In the game, each goverment have a plus and a minus. keep reading to find them.
Democracy\Republic- Liberal goverment: In a Democracy, and to a lesser extent a Republic, the people are always in one extreme or another; very happy or downright pissed off; never in the middle and as such the Democracy and Republic is a very fragile Government. However this drawback is greatly outweighed by great freedoms and higher productive ability. They also inspire greater goodwill in NPC nations.
Democracies and Republics may not declare war without a Casus Belli - A Cause for war, only with a Casus Belli or a reason for it may a Democracy declare war in any circumstance. People in democracies and republics do not tolerate long wars.
In game, growing economy have chance
+ Economic grouth have chances to grow the economy by more than 1 size!
- You cannot declear wars without a Causes-Bely and your peoplr don't like long wars. Wars on your hoemland have chances to destory your economy!
Communist\Plutocracy- Totalitarian Regime: The Party controls the country in every sense of the word. Every faucet of Governance and state is ruled by Party and therefore by the General Sectariat. The Party inspires great love or abject terror, either way they get the job done, people in Communist/Plutocratic regimes are fiercely loyal to Party, simply because there is no one else to be loyal to. The abilty of Communists to expand and grow is almost boundbless, except for in their zeal to grow they sometimes forget to maintain what they have grown causing it to retract or shrink.
Communists are very secure and stable regimes as long as no one forms a very serious and credible outside threat to the party and state, then everything tends to go to pot; because of this Communisms require close and personal attention in Governing.
+ You can right away choose 1 statuse to change. For example grow economy to Stable in 1 turn from Depression, or Grow a None army to Large in 1 turn.
- Using this speicel ability make your people even more sad! (not that you should care). also other statuse will drop down (sink!!) that your country could keep stabilizing itself.
Absolute Monarchy/Constitutional Monarchy - Autocratic/Centralised Governments: Both types of Monarchies are ultimately ruled by the King or Queen as head of state. In the former there is a very large serf class who have a fierce loyalty to the Monarch simply because they do not know any better. They can not be unhappy with their Government or know how unfair it can be in certain areas because they have never known nor seen any different. In the latter they tend to have a larger middle class and upper class than the former, and their Monarch is assisted by an elected parliament with varying degrees of power; the Constitutional Monarch also inspires fierce loyalty in his/her subjects but for different reasons than the Absolute Monarch, the people feel that their Monarch represents everything of their national sprit and is worthy of defending unto death.
Both types of Monarchies are highly resistant to internal change, external change, or even external occupation.
+Their only bonus is that they have no Bonus, but not any Minus neather. -
Facism/Corporatism - Totalitarian State: Facism and Corporatism are a highly stable nation, who can field armed forces of high quality if not high number. Facisms and Corporatisms tend to be ruled by one or more individuals for life who control many aspects of the state, maybe not to the same degree as a Communism. To divert attention from their greatly unfree type of rulership they tend to persecute any given minority or indeed several minorities, blaming them for the problems of the nation and promising the majority swift "justice" for the minorities recieving the blame. Corruption in these type of Governments is rampant, and leaders tend not to last very long before being "replaced" for any number of reasons in any number of ways.
Fascism have 2 bonuses but also 2 minuses:
+ The turn you become a Facist goverment, if your economy is lower than Stable, it becomes Stable right away!
- The turn you become fascist, if your economy in higher than Stable, the people of you country loose 2 levels of Confident, after all, why become fascist if nothing is wrong?!
+ Fascist states can grow 3 statuse for 1 economic loose instead of 2 in all other goverments.
- No NPC, exapte Fascist ones, don't like living near. If you are at war, there are many chances they will join against you. If you gain a border to a None-Fascist country they will not like being near and there are chances again that they will attack you! (If they are a democracy, they will gain a Causes-Beli on you)
A Coup: A Coup can be caused for any number of reasons, and can come in three forms. Economic, Military, and outright rebellion.
Coups can be caused from outside sources, or bad internal policies and decisions. So beware, a coup is highly damaging to your power base.
+ Depends on the kind of coup:
Miliatery: You army, navy or air-force become Large right away
Economy: Your economy become growing right away
Rebelle: You become a more stable country (I choose what it means, with help from you somthimes)
- Depends on the kind of coup:
Miliatery: You economy become in Recession.
Economy: All your miliatery statuse become to medium if higher.
Rebelle: Your stabilizing might make you much much weaker.
Armed forces
From Tiny to Imperial as always... you know the drill, one econmy drop for every 2 levels growth.
This time tech evolution do not cost nothing.

To get out of Depression you will need to work out what to do. later you might choose just to change to fascism, but at start you can't. to get out of depression you need to spend 3 turns, all others 1 turn is all that needed.

After fully conquering a country you need to annex it... Huh? why should you? without their acceptance to the annexion rebellions might pop out...
Cotnroling a country but being at peace with her
In WW2, Belgium controled huge amounts of teritories in Africa, but still they did not fought Germany all the time in their homes. thats where this come, you can be at peace, but control their teritories, and move on what you control...

Yes, this will bring fascist countries for sure... I don't want a boring peacfull game with weaky countries!!! many stuff could happan, espaicaly historical stuff, just don't let me control france as NPC for too much time!
