That is the weirdest draft strategy I've ever seen. Because RB usually has so little consistency from year to year, the 3-5 RBs who can be relied upon to produce (barring serious injury) are like gold.
Conversely you can get QBs 5-10 in rounds 4-7, and there are so many decent WRs it's barely even funny.

I prioritized Chris Johnson and Jamaal Charles last year to hilarious results. Blue chip quarterbacks are usually more reliable than blue chip runningbacks.

You speak as if all other positions don't vary, too.
The thing is, the difference in points between a McCoy or Rice and a guy like Blount or Murray is probably larger than Rodgers to Ryan. So it seems to me that getting a top tier RB is very important.
As for Foster, Tate is probably gonna start eating more into his carries. Houston is built to run the ball, so they don't really care whether it's Tate or Foster who's running the rock.

I'm kinda apologizing for hijacking your thread guys, so just move on if uninterested, but I stumbled accross this clip collection today and figured you guys might enjoy the brutality (to be blunt). It's Rugby League, not Rugby, a different sport and I just thought this collection was a cracker. There is a bit much fighting early on which is only of minor interest but give past the first minute and there are some awesome hits.
