Sorry to ask that but it's 1:37am here in France and I want to know if it's worth it to wait for Virginia results before getting to bed.

If it looks like its within 1%, it could be another two or three hours from now. Or an auto-recount and we won't know for a few days.

If you had a popular vote elections you wouldn't need all these silly recounts on a state basis. With 150 million voters, it could hardly be played at few dozens of thousands votes.

Even in 2000, Al Gore won the popular vote with half a million votes more !
