Wow. All my kids came preassembled. Did you get kits or build yours from scratch?

Wrapping presents is one of the few skills my mother ever taught me that I still use.Yep, it doesn't help that my wife and child are "EXPERTS" at it. And seem to do it effortlessly.
Hint #1: For the wrapping-challenged but mathematically-proficient folks: Think of it as a geometry problem involving angles and how not to tape yourself to the wrapping paper (get the good-quality tape; I only had the cheap dollar store crap this year and ended up having to use scissors to get myself unstuck).
Hint #2: Never wrap presents in any room occupied by a cat.
Hint #3: Save the inserts from the charities that try to guilt-trip you into a donation. I now have enough Christmas cards to last for 20 years, given that I almost never use them. I also have stickers and "to/from" adhesive tags - very useful to just grab one, rather than having to buy them. I've also got wrapping paper that would do for small gifts... however, the only person I exchange with is into medium-size jigsaw puzzles. The wrapping paper is too small.
