One of the things the Patriots consistently did is trade down to get more picks and keep their core salaries low. Brady also famously played at a substantial discount to keep money free to hold onto key players. If the Chiefs do the same they may be able to hold onto the big name players.

So earlier this year, the broncos were with no QBs in a game, last week brown's were with no WRs (losing to the Jets), now the Saints are with no RBs.

I think having no RBs are not as big of a problem as having no WR or QB, so it shouldn't be that big of a disaster for NO as those other games were.
I think the Broncos might trade up to snag one of the top QBs out of the draft.

My opinion is never put a rookie QB behind a bad offensive line, not if he's your plan A anyway. If that's what they do, they should get another good o-lineman in free agency.

Sorry...

Lol. The Rams gave up a fortune for a QB swap. The NFC west is a loaded division so they could easily still lose it and even miss the playoffs. I can the Lions getting good first rounders here. Everyone thought the Seahawks were super bowl bound after the Adams trade and the Jets are getting the 23rd pick out of it.

No cap space and few draft picks. Yeah, this is going to end well for the Rams - I'm guessing they'll have no depth at all which means any injury to starters could be catastrophic.

The interesting thing about it was Stafford wanted anyone but Patriots and the lions did everything to give stafford what he wanted; Stafford has to win in LAR now if not then what?
