I’d agree about the corporation state but white minority rule in a corporate state setup is pretty much par for the course thus far in human history. We will see if China emulates that banana republic model.

Anyways, antifa bad. Bad antifa. Patine no likey.

I’ll stay on the human side of the argument tyvm.

I actually said Antifa, and far-right-wing extremists, and anyone else who used or supported the kind of tactics I pointed out, regardless of context, stated justification, or whom their targeting is those I will not support, and deserve to be called out and condemned. You only quoting part of what I'm saying (to portray me as ONLY condemning Antifa and supporting far-right-wing extremists, even if I won't call them Nazis and refer to them by the separate movement in the broader far-right-wing spectrum, which is a bias I have never ONCE claimed or shown) to make flawed and disingenuous attacks against me is noted as a continuous trend. And, the "human," side of the argument is not supporting ANY militant, arbitrary, and demographic-thinking extremists of any sort anywhere on the political spectrum - so your statement of where you and I stand in regards to the "human," side of the argument is highly self-deluded.

Yeah, those Romulans sure suck.

Or the Orcs, who mindlessly serve Sauron in Mordor and the forces of objective Manichaean evil and darkness...

I dub thee Bait, antipapist.

I saw the new Borat film, and one of the most politically poignant moments of the film, but easily lost among all the gags, is when he goes to CPAC and Mike Pence is speaking about the new coronavirus emergence, and he says:

SMFH :shake:.. just... chilling.

Whats chilling is 'the scientists' were telling Pence what to say, the same scientists Biden will listen to. Thats why Trump is mad at Fauci, he's portrayed in the media as a virus guru while Trump is blamed for following his bad advice.

Fauci's on tape explaining why they lied to us, he/they feared panic buying of PPEs so they downplayed the virus and the need for masks. I dont know if they thought the bug would be more like past ones or bad and wanted to avoid a panic, well, both. I'm worried China upped the ante on Putin.

Equivocation of white supremacists who literally are running the US government with antifa kids starting fist fights in a few cities around the country is insane. That's what you are doing equivocating the two. They are nowhere near the same threat. One side has people in very powerful positions the other can barely get a get together going on a college campus anywhere in america. You are jsut trying to act holier than all and its typical Patine.

Yeah, those Romulans sure suck.

Romulans at least had a real reason to be angry. American Nazis should jsut move to Poland or Hungary. They'd feel right at home.

Or the Orcs, who mindlessly serve Sauron in Mordor and the forces of objective Manichaean evil and darkness...

Patine on repeat! yay!

Yes yes the CDC and WHO playbook says to try and calm fears at the beginning of a pandemic. Stabilize supply chains and try to reduce overwhelmed hospitals. Of course you have to keep listening to them and not jsut stop 20 days later and fork the whole thing up.

but I note you are anti-science and you can color me not surprised.

Nothing you say bears any resemblance to reality and is constructed to defend and shill for the Republicans.

It's honestly breathtaking how dishonest you are being; even now Trump continues to downplay Covid, after having sat on his hands for most of this year.

It doesn't matter. The toxic viewpoint and mentality cannot be dismissed just because they lack power NOW. Doing such dismissal has been a grave mistake for many nations and societies. And you go on and on as though White Supremacists are the ONLY dangerous, toxic, and extremist out there (though they are definitely dangerous, toxic, and extremist), but you completely ignore, are even offended at them being brought up, and even support and endorse, and would like to see actual empowerment, for certain other dangerous, toxic, and extremist - and hard demographic thinking - groups. I do NOT support extremists and hard demographic thinkers, of any sort, regardless of how much power they may or may not have NOW (how much power did the German Workers' Party in the Weimar Republic in 1920, or even the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party - the one that split in the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks - at the very first State Duma election in 1906), PERIOD! FULL STOP!

"Say you got a real solution,
Well, we'd all like to see the plan
Say you want a contribution
Well, we're all doing what we can
But if it means giving money to minds that hate
My friend you're going to have to wait"

-The Beatles, "Revolution."

No, what Nazis we happen to have are right at home. They'd fit right in this thread. In fact, given what people around here call each other, are probably like 90% of this thread depending on how Captain America we're dressing up as. It's almost Halloween. Though, granted, a goodly portion of the dipwads tossing that crap around, here, are blessedly not Americans. We have our hands full already.

white supremacists who literally are running the US government.

You are aware of how the American Government works, with separate Executive and Legislative branches (and a bicameral legislative branch), and 50 very strongly autonomous State governments with the same divide, and tonnes of local governments. As well as the fact that not every Republican politician is an actual "White Supremacist," and a fair number of older Democrats (including Biden, I might add) have histories of racist quips and comments on the record. The statement above is gross oversimplification - an absolute, in fact, and just as flawed and broken in application as any absolute applied to an issue related in any way, shape, or form to the social sciences.

American Nazis should jsut move to Poland or Hungary. They'd feel right at home.

There's so few Americans who are genuine Nazis (as opposed to American-created and -contextual far-right-wing movements), I doubt anyone would notice if they all left, nor the would the socio-political balance of power in the U.S. be meaningfully affected.

Going to war against the United Nations for three years, causing one of the largest and most ambitious UN peacekeeping effort in history, assassinating the Prime Minister of the Congo, and being directly responsible for the death of the Secretary General is quite a rap sheet for a "flash in the pan".

Congo had to do with a minor western country and not with one of the big (colonial) powers and therefore less interesting for the global ideological discussions.
But it was indeed in facts one of the bad ones.
This year Congo got from Belgium as token of regret the last remnant back of Lumumba: a tooth

Article below from the Dutch History magazine a good story how a couple of hundreds of tribes, their chieftains sold their territories to Belgium at that moment still without a colony and the King desperately in search to get one of his own whereby he fooled everybody with nice stories including his own country, including the US that Congo would become a free state for Afro-Americans to go back to their homeland.
The famous Henry M, Stanley (the one who did find Dr Livingstone) fooled as well in doing the groundwork in Africa and diplomacy to convince other nations of the benign intentions of the King.
An almost incredible story.

Biden calls people 'chumps' and says he'll restore decency. "Hey fat", wanna do some push ups? These men are not decent.

So they start fights? You said the fights break out. Thats the violent suppression of free speech and you're apparently okay with it when you dont like the speech being suppressed... And this doesn't happen in a vacuum, Antifa is backed by an extensive and active cancel culture coercing people into conformity reminiscent of the McCarthy era. As for racism, Joe aint exactly what I'd call woke.

Biden has hurt or killed far more black and brown people. Granted he's been at it for decades, but Joe was a vicious advocate for filling the jails and prisons with peaceful people, disproportionately young black and Hispanic men. He even bragged how his '92 crime bill did everything but hang people for jaywalking.

Jimmy Dore has a clip of Joe demanding a ban on raves - I guess because of ecstasy - by using crack house laws he wrote. He told cops to make up excuses to raid them, just do it, man. Trump doesn't deserve re-election, Biden deserves a trial by an impartial jury.

What did I say that was anti-science? It wasn't 20 days, it was ~mid March when 'the scientists' changed their tune and thats when Trump issued more emergency orders adding Europe to the travel restrictions which got him more criticism. I remember watching Democrats and media ridiculing Trump for his travel bans, I remember Pelosi inviting people to Chinatown (a densely populated part of SF) while Cuomo was sending sick old people back into nursing homes.

I dont know who decided on the China travel ban but within hours Biden was speaking in Iowa calling Trump xenophobic and fear mongering. Americans were told a lie and it was bipartisan, the Democrats and media were downplaying the virus too. Now they want to stick Trump with all the blame, dont seem fair to me.

Nothing you say bears any resemblance to reality and is constructed to defend and shill for the Republicans.

What Trump is doing now is irrelevant to what the scientists were telling people during the 1st quarter when the bug was initially spreading. As for reality:

Yes yes the CDC and WHO playbook says to try and calm fears at the beginning of a pandemic. Stabilize supply chains and try to reduce overwhelmed hospitals.

is Este lying too?
