Hiya guys, sorry about the lack of work just lately but ive been having troules with my computer, on top of which I'm also having trouble with my moving to kent plans. In the rest of the country unemployment has generaly dropped, but in kent it has risen from 1,600 to 19,000 which make getting a job realy difficult.
On the plus side I have managed to get a computer for when I move, so if i can pay the internet bills, I'll be able to continue the project.
Any way, been reading some more recent science fiction, looking for plausable ideas, I've found Steven Baxter good for near future scenarios, while I've also been reading Peter F Hamilton's night's dawn trilogy. Most of it is fairly unrealistic, and i'm not keen on the disparity between tech levels and the ability to create worm holes using fairly cheap technology, but there are some good ideas in there especialy with bio-technology.
I'll see what I can do about posting some finished units this week, though I've been having severe problems with my parents pc.
P.S anyone know how to deal with the following problem;
I was installing civ III so I could work on civ colours and terrain and the computer crashed half way threough instalation. I erased all the files and prepared to start over, but now my civ III disk thinks civ is already installed, so install-shield-wizard wont give me the option of installing, only uninstalling. Even when I try to uninstall it just goes straight to 100% and says its finished performing maintenance on civ III. When I then try to intall, it again only gives me the option of uninstalation, or reinstalation (which has the same non-effect).

any one know how to fix this without reinstalling windows?
