This preview is notable as it has a lot of artwork taken from Firaxis's art department bulletin boards.

Anybody speak the language (Japanese) here and want to help with the translation? Also, I think I see Humata's concept art over on the end of the first picture and Polystralia's capitol looks to be Melbourne. Also Xeno-Titan pic!

From Google Translation, the starting options are:
Pick faction
Pick colonists
- Artists
- Scientists
- Refugees (instead of pilgrims like we earlier preview)
- Aristocrats
- Engineers
Pick type of spaceship
-Continental Surveyor
-Retrograde Thruster
-Tectonic Scanner
-Fusion Reactor
-Lifeform Scanner
Pick type or cargo:
-Hydrophonics
-Laboratories
-Raw Materials
-Weapon Arsenal
-Machinery

Also if we look at the screenshot of the espionage screen, we see that a spy has provided an intel report that is 10 turns old that says:
"Another sponsor has attempted a coup"
"Melbourne is 20 turns away from completing the Gene Vault"
"Melbourne is 6 turns away from getting 1 population"
"Melbourne has adopted a policy or something another"
"Melbourne has done something worthy of reporting" (probably a place holder)

Some neat quest info:
when you move your unit a certain amount, you get the "find an outpost" quest.
When you build the "old earth relic" in your city, you get the "how we remember" quest. You are presented with some different choices that give you points towards different affinities based on your selection.

Who is bringing home spades of pictures from his trip? the Japanese! figures...

Although i'm imagining them with microcameras all cloak and dagger like (that would be ninjas then?). Don't disillusionize me thats my headcanon now.

is it just me or does the promised Godzilla look more like an Ultralisk? Bolivar might sport supremacy attire in the concept artwork.

That might be Supremacy attire, hard to make out though. I wish they had taken them at a better angle.

And yes, that thing looks more like an Ultralisk or a Tyrannid than anything else.

...and if the fellow in the beige tuxedo just one down from Elodie is Hutama, than the other fellow at the bottom, loosely resembling Jean Luc Picard in dress uniform has to be General Kozlov? I like the design of the sea serpent too and all the thought they put into how the siege worm would unfold.

Some things from the Diplo view pictures

1. Some civs have the same wonders listed (possibly "national wonders" are listed

2. PAU appears to be at war with Brasillia AND friends with Brasilliax2 (also friends with ARC x2)...probably display error (or its historical)

3. Stations appear to have some Earth related names (Los Angeles, New Russian Confederacy)
[and you get to see the friends/war status]

On the concept art board...I agree the "ultralisk" there is probably a Xeno Titan

Also it appears to be either Kozlov or Hutama on the far right, he looks like he is wearing a business suit.

Then slightly to left looks like either a Harmony or native sea unit (would have said air, but they show it partially submerged)

Slightly under that, it looks like they are showing artillery units for each affinity (and maybe heavy infantry-Ranger on that same poster?)

I rather think thats the magic of copy&paste. They all seem to have the same virtues selected too. And the greyed out faction has the same wonders again. Its a UI concept, not a press release.

doesn't look slavic too me, but th white guy at the bottom may be Kozlov.

on one of the articles of today mentions a sea serpent, i think. It does not look like a kraken to me, so it should not be the leviathan.

Could be multiplayer and two people are playing as Brasilia.

I might be wrong, but I think the artwork for Bolivar shows his progression in Supremacy.

Looks like just a set of costume concepts, rather than an Affinity progression.

The player is also at war with Galactica and Eternia, and friends with Narcissus and Los Angeles. It's not a screen of real gameplay. And many of the names and icons that are real (Kavitha Sarin of the Indian Protectorate) have since changed.

We can also see in the first pic, what appears to be a Purity General unit.

And from a recent vid, a L4 Harmony infantry

I was assuming those are stations

Looks supremacy to me. And do we know that great generals are in? I thought great persons were out. Perhaps it is concept art for the domination victory screen?
