Na'vi, you wanna mess with me?
I spit atomic borscht while I am crushing these beasts
Blow it up like a tuba
While I'm schooling every Harmonist cyka
The last man who attacked me lived a half-life
So Purity come at me!
Oh, this biome is spot on at the alien outlook.
In these three screenshots with on overlook of Purity lands, I wonder if those two bright green 'jungle' tiles are terraformed lands.
"Hey, this doesn't look alien enough!"
*sees fungal biome*
"Ewww! I hate it!"
I think the fungal biome looks great. I'll probably set course for a fungal world on my first seeding.
Any wild speculation on what the tile improvement on the road between Citadela and Manoel is? Two more up by the river. Also, that monolithic improvement one tile south east of Citadela?
Perhaps the people settling an interstellar colony in the future decided to name their city after someone named Manoel who had made significant scientific/culture/whatever contributions to their society in the interim between then and now?
The problem isn't the fungal biome per se; the problem is how much it contrasts against the bright palette used in buildings, units and borders. But I guess a fungal planet with little human interaction might look nice. One more reason to follow the Harmony affinity, maybe?
@Karl0413: great reference there. Did somebody say "real power"?
As a fan of Mecha anime and stuff, purity is starting to grow on me now D:
Seriously though, these designs look amazing, so excited for all of the different units and the difference it will make to war.

Maybe in the globalized world they adopted the tradition to name military forts with human names? Like Fort Constantine or Fort Miller. There is a film Restrepo (as I can remember) where an outpost in Afghanistan is named after the KIA-soldier.
Hmm, that SABR... something seems off. It is essentially a tank in that there is a massive artillery gun mounted on top of a vehicle which can (presumably) navigate a wide variety of terrain. I suppose it is just the imagery I am used to; there is a reason why a lot of artillery are built to absorb the recoil into the ground rather than atop 4 legs like that.
But then, who knows what it is actually shooting? If its purpose is to get into position and melt enemy faces with high energy lasers, then it could make sense. The legs would probably even help in such a scenario, being able to move the gun in a more fluid motion to keep track of its target.
