I'm just going to throw this out there without anything to back it up: Jan III Sobieski.
A Jagiellonian would make sense too, and so would poland/ Poland-lithuania in the context of the ren. scenario

) skirt and a shin protector?Looked up some pictures on Gustavus Adolphus due to frequent mentions and I'm putting my money on Sweden. Pic looks like the bottom part of a nice medieval-renaissance style outfit to me with the top of a leg guard and the dangling part of a belt. Some of the pictures on his wikipedia article could definitely support this.
Yep, the full image will be revealed sometime today![]()
Edit:
I would guess it's not Majapahit, afaik there's no painting/picture of Gajah Mada.
This piqued my curiousity, and I have to say: if I'm correct about the picture being a boot and part of a dress-thing...it looks astonishingly like this picture:

Maybe the black line casting a shadow is part of a sword.

I think the dangly-thing looks like the strap on this picture of Gustavus Adolphus:

My Swedish ancestors would be pleased if Sweden is the new Civ, but I'd prefer others...
