Wow, ya'll have certainly been having fun without me. For those who want to join, welcome! If you send PMs to me, I will help you pick out a nation and so forth. Just on browsing, there are a few things I will state right off the bat to all potential newcomers:
1. At this time I am not allowing any corporations or other therefore terrorist bodies and such. Regular governments only. I'd say we're a decent ways off from irregular organizations and militaries.
2. No rebellions either. Sorry, but there it is, I'm managing that NPC. The only exception I'll make is if you clear it with the player in charge of whatever nation that you'd like to rebel in. If there is no player, then consider it an automatic rejection of your request.
Now, not to dash hopes, I am not truly back, at this moment around 600 miles away out to sea (ain't tech great nowadays?) and won't be back home until probably late evening on Sunday. Following that it's probably going to take 2-3 days to settle in, but I will let you all know of the exact time of the next update. I will allow plenty of time for NPC diplomacy, questions, and other things which I need to handle.
Lastly a quick message:

I'm officiallly back now with regular internet. I'll be present on AIM for most of the day, but responses regarding NES will likely be sluggish as I have many a thing to do. NPC diplomacy and responses to private messages will be taken care of tonight.
@Milarqui: I haven't mentioned the Milling-Hansen Prizes cause I sorta forgot about them for a while. They haven't been on the top of my mind for update portions. Also, I'll correct your economy with the next update. Good point with the EAN thing, but unfortunately too late now.

New France is a bland name, not going to deny that. Gimme a break though, came up with it in about 1 minute and decided to keep it for a while. Too late to do much with it for now methinks. For those concerned they are NOT in the communist alliance, but are currently a free agent state.

We cannot condone a war of conquest against the people of the Lakota state. If a regime change is to take place there, we request the inclusion of the Lakota people into our state. We cannot allow our friends to be oppressed by the white man, but instead they should be included in a country of their own people, namely, ours. When assurances are granted that the Lakota people will be recognized as part of our country, we will open our borders to military moves against both Miami and the Lakota.

We are willing to discuss terms of localized autonomy. Here is our offer.
1. Miami will remain an autonomous province of the Virginian Empire.
2. Miami will send representatives to the People's House, and will follow the foreign policy dictated by the legislative branch of the Empire.
3. The Communist Party will be made illegal, though a localized Socialist movement will still be allowed. We will however, promise that no foreign negotiations will be made with any outside governmetns and that all foreign powers rests with the government in Richmond
4. The province of Miami MUST approve of all domestic measures taken by the federal government in the province and is free to enact any of its own.
5. Military movements by Virginia through Miami will be allowed with freedom of movement.
6. Miami has the right to maintain a standing militia in case of invasion or other unfortunate circumstances.
7. Trade along the Mississippi River will be managed in coordination with provincial and federal leaders.

What do you mean with this? Do you mean that the letter the last Conservative PM sent to the EAN members doesn't count? I did it because I supposed that it took a couple of weeks or months for the election winners to officially take the hold of the government, so I decided that the Conservative govt last act would be to retire Denmark from the EAN. That way, I might still hold some good relationship with them.
About the Malling-Hansen Prizes, I'm not picky about their lack of appearance in the last updates, it's just that I had a good idea and I don't see it anymore.
Not quite what I meant. I mean, too late as in it won't make it into the last update, but it did happen. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the stats were changed to reflect your withdrawal.
As for everyone else, after reading orders, I hate you all. Roaring Twenties does NOT mean "roaring with the sounds of battle." The world needs a break people. There has to be some time to recover. Some of you will be having some major problems next year, to be increased as your wars continue.
