Technically, that should be 'français = frog language'. La Francophonie is the collection of all those who speak the French language.francophonie = frog language
So other than complete disenfranchisement for every non-Anglophone, there are no limitations on or attempts to assimilate the Québecois?
Essentially, yes, but about 10 years after WWI, I did make some efforts to speed along intergration. Now I'm content with letting that happen naturally, however long that takes.

We were willing to let the Communist participate fully within the Republic yet despite this, when we were closest to achieving peace, you rebelled and prolonged the violence that we were all so ready to bring to a close. On top of this, it is us, the Republicans who are the only ones to have made any actual progress in the betterment of the lives of the Chinese people with our land reform programs. What the Europeans did or did not do is not the question of this war, it is who is willing to give the Chinese people true freedom, and that is us by allowing them to decide their own fate through the democratic process. You forfeited your right to decide the fate of the Chinese people when you betrayed them by prolonging the violence without making any attempt to work peacefully.

As for the "minor reforms" you plan to implement...."eventually", had you stayed with the Republic, we could have worked together to implement real change without fighting, but it is obvious you "communists" don't really care about this at all or this war would not be happening in the first place. As stated, this conflict is not about Imperialists versus Communists, it is about Good versus Evil, and the UCC's attempt to violently usurp power from a legitimate and democratic government and promote violence is clearly evil.

It saddens us that you think we would stoop as low as you and recommence a 10 year war that was in its final stages. We allied with those that would help us end the fighting with the archaic empire, push out the foreign invaders and it was all to save many lives as possible. We have also proved we had no intention of letting the rich continue to oppress the poor with our land reform programs. We realize now, perhaps too late, that you communists will never be able to wrap your heads around these concepts however, as you understand nothing but fighting and violence. Furthermore, we will no longer be accepting any diplomats from the UCC for the rest of the year unless they are willing to discuss a peace that includes a united China under a fully democratic government. Lurker Just realized Denmark was using Fremskridtspartiet as her leading party. Ehh, Milarqui, I don't know, suit yourself for the number of parties in the Danish parliament at this point of history, but just as a notice, Fremskridtspartiet used to promote a 0% tax base.
Just sayin'. This NES is, anyways, an alt-his, and policies may be different than in our world. But in OTL terms, I think the traditional liberals (Venstre) would suit a liberal state better, at least at this time. Eventually, they shifted towards a social democratic policy, but, yeah.
