A Brave New World Part 2

OOC: Its actually next on our list LM. Read the social group thread.

Yeah! My orders are in! Now I have an excuse to needlessly increase my postcount! :D

In other words: Motorized Logistics, I'm sorry everyone is ignoring you. Here, have a tissue. :p

Let me tell you all a story too. It's a very sad story. I call it "The Tech That No One Loved."

Once upon a time there was a tech called Motorized Logistics. It did all sorts of cool things like open up techs that reduce costs of other techs, provide trucks, new kinds of infantry, and was vital for the advancement of global technology. Despite all this, this spunky little tech was ignored by everyone. People were more interested in getting stuff immediately, or fancy moving pictures and tanks. No one ever thought that he eventually made tanks cheaper to research. This made him very sad. Eventually he got so sad and desperate that the moderator took pity upon him and wrote a sad story about him so maybe people would get the idea that they ought to seriously considering researching Motorized Logistics.

The End.

Hahaha, it is rather strange that no one is paying much attention to logistics, especially after Russia was humiliated by a rag-tag band of rebels (funded by most of South America and a good chunk of North America, but nevertheless, a rag-tag band of rebels :p) due to exactly that...

Russia smells.

Re: Threats of Jamaican Intervention

The former members of the Gulf Alliance, and current members of the UNSA, are legally obligated, per the Jamaican constitution, to intervene in that country in any case that threatens the democratic integrity of the government therein. Until such time that there can be free and fair elections to elect a stable, democratic government, we will not be bullied into prematurely relinquishing our aid to that beleaguered island. Your threats of intervention amount to threats of war against the whole of the UNSA, as we are willing and able to fulfill a promise made to a downtrodden and desperate people. If you truly cared for their well being, you would cease supplying the Communist outlaws on the island, who bring naught but pain and death to the populace. We will not be swayed from our cause in Jamaica, nor will your threats of violence be listened to. We will remain in Jamaica until such time that we, the free and democratic nations of the UNSA, determine that the island is able to stand alone and govern itself.

We have not supplied the Communists in Jamaica any arms. Our attempts to bring food aid to the island were halted by your blockade. The UCNA has gone so far as to request that the Communists of Jamaica participate in elections throughout the country and halt their rebellion.

The UCNA's concern is that the Communists on Jamaica are being hunted and killed. If Texan and New English forces left them be then no blood would spill on the island. Their resistance is only that of self defense and not aggressive in any form. Even after the UCNA promoted that the Communists of Jamaica participate in democracy Texan forces continued to attack known Communists throughout the country.

If the purge against Communism continues on Jamaica we see no reason why we should attempt to support Democracy on the island.

((OOC: I'm sorry but I don't see where you urged them to stop fighting before last update. Indeed in the update it says that rumors are you did and thus Texas announced the end to hostilities. So I see no way how the Texan occupation can be construed as a Communist manhunt if we aren't even fighting anyone anymore. If I'm missing something in the thread that I should know IC then please do so.))

SUSA agrees with UNCA’s statements regarding Jamaica. We back UNCA with any actions that they deem necessary

OOC: Same for Georgia. I blame France.
God France you're so annoying the way you lend us credibility and charge forward into a bold new age of technological development and the way you maintain peace despite questionable judgment on the part of some Axis members god it irritates me.

Texas has been on a Communist manhunt since her occupation on the island began. The Communists on the island have not launched any attacks again Texan soldiers. It has only been Texan offensives against Communists.

Thanks for answering my question /sarcasm off

update process begins now, no more order revisions will be accepted, though new orders are welcome.

As a side note: a political cartoon would be particularly welcome.

I'm rather pissed at myself. Last night, I fell asleep midway through updating (haven't done that in a while.) During the night our power went out and because of that, I lost all the progress I made on the update, from random events to the first few orders and outline (nearly 2 hours of work total). I have restarted the process, will press late into the night to finish if need be.

just remember to save every so often :P... If you were using word or something it should have file recovery right?
