To Georgia
From King Robert II
I would like to formerly acknowledge the wrong doings of my grandfather, king Robert E Lee. While he is still revered throughout Virginia for his reign as our wisest and greatest king, toward the end of his reign his mind was not fully complete, and the Kingdom slowly drifted out of his hands to his corrupt ministers.
That said, the majority of our history has been one of friendship, alliance, and mutual trade. We hope that we can let bygones by bygones and once again prosper together. Our two peoples both stem from the same southern stock, our futures are intertwined whether we like it or not. As a sign of goodwill, Virginia offers to sign a treaty of non-aggression with the Republic of Georgia. Perhaps in the future we can move towards better economic cooperation, such as lower duties and integration of rail networks.
