The North Sea Alliance Charter

Herein in the Year of Our Lord 1910, this North Sea Alliance (NSA) Charter is signed by the nations of Denmark, England, Germany and Sweden, who compromise with their signature to uphold the honour of this alliance and the national sanctity of all its members.

I. Requirements For The Admission of New Members
1. They must not have an agreement that will compromise his entrance into the NSA.
2. They must be able to maintain a high level of stability and security for their citizens. (Stability>8)
3. They must have an economy strong enough to support said level of stability without aid. (EP>12)
4. They must keep a military force strong enough to defend their own country.
5. They must be recommended by a current member of the NSA.

II. On the Military Matters
1. If one of the members of the NSA is attacked by a non-member of the NSA, the other members of the NSA will immediately declare war on the attacker.
2. If one of the members of the NSA declares war on a non-member of the NSA, the other members will decide individually whether to help them directly or to only provide the required resources.
3. The protectorates of the members of the NSA will be under the same defensive umbrella of the NSA.

III. On the Economic Matters
1. The members of the NSA will lower taxes to make trade between each other easier and thus give stronger economies to all of them.

IV. On the Technological Matters
1. All members will share the technologies they have researched or bought with the NSA at no cost, immediately upon their entrance into the Alliance or obtaining.
a. The member who has researched one technology will have absolute control over any trade done with said technology.
2. If a technology is developed as a joint project of the NSA, possible sharing and/or selling of said technology with other nations shall be decided by the Alliance's Science Committee.
3. The Allance's Science Committee will be formed by 1 scientist of each nation. The Committee shall meet periodically to decide the course of investigation of the NSA.
4. Permanent research teams shall be in charge of technological developments within each of the leading nations in each field.
a. Army developments: Dresden, German Empire.
b. Navy developments: Casablanca, Morocco
c. Aeronautical developments: Brighton, England.
d. Industrial developments: Oslo, Swedish Empire
e. Scientifical developments: Aarhus, Danish Empire.
5. All nations will provide a quantity of money proportional to their economical power for the research teams' financing.

V. Others
1. The following actions shall be regarded as infractions of this Charter:
a. Acting, directly or indirectly, agains a fellow member of the NSA.
b. Selling technology without permission of its researcher or of the Alliance's Science Committee.
c. Secretly support any enemy of the Alliance.
d. Sign agreements with non-members of the NSA without permission of the NSA.
2. An impartial pannel of 5 judges (1 from each nation, the other randomly chosen every year) will determine whether some member's actions may be considered an infraction and the punishmentto be applied to them.
3. Admission of new members and changes of this treaty shall be voted by 75% of the current members for it to happen.
