A Brave New World Part 2

Rather hasty, don't you think?

Yes, perhaps. We will add that we won't act against Canada if Canada does not act against the Metis.

OOC: Sweden then could invade you and say it was an accident:p:p

OOC: They won't get far being as they do have a lot on their plate right now. :p:p:p

bestrfcplayer, allow me to explain something to you... your country is nothing more than a backwater swamp compared to New France and many of the North American nations, hell even the world. Any country in North America could overrun Alaska in just a month, a year at most.

You are in no position to angle for power, much less dictate a treaty between superpowers of North America. Even I, New France, cannot dictate such a treaty, the only thing we can do is give our opinion and hope that someone listens. If you want you can ask Sweden to interfere on your behalf, but if you keep acting in this way even Sweden might ignore you.

So in short, know your place and clean up your grammar.

Uhmm, its common knowledge. No one is disputing it except Georgia. I don't have to be there to know what happens.

Again, there is no "presence" pre-requisite to knowing and understanding a situation. Once China understands this, maybe they can start to have a meaningful impact on the world.

Obviously Georgia is not the only one disputing it. China disputes what really happened in Louisiana as well and given ourselves, Georgia, Tennessee, and Louisiana were the only none-communist nations present, they are only ones who's word can be considered. Three of the four nations who were witnesses of this "betrayal" claim the events transpired differently then you believe.

We have not had cooperation or trust issues during the war. Thus it could not have led to any defeats during the war. Your logic is flawed, and you don't have the facts. Best bet is to stay out of things you do not understand.

How can Virginia say there were no cooperation issues when they surrendered their ally to the Communist hordes?

OOC: I do understand how the update works and that what is written is really what happened. I am simply defending my ally, Georgia, in character. Basically we'll deny what happened until we die so I'm not sure if there is a point in debating it with us. :dunno:

The SUSA has changed its stance on the Treaty of Baton Rouge, and no longer accepts it. After discussing with his advisers, Prestes has realized that his granting approval to the treaty was too hasty. The treaty is flawed in that it does not address the SUSA in any way, and is therefore more a treaty between the UCNA and the Allies. We should never have signed a treaty that did not address ourselves.

In addition, we ask that the UCNA to rescind their support for the Treaty of Baton Rouge, since the treaty does not end the war against the SUSA. For the UCNA to continue to support the treaty would be an abandonment of her Socialist ally, and potentially leaving the SUSA to fend for herself against the Capitalists. However, we will reconsider our stance if the treaty were to address the SUSA and create a peace between the Allies and the SUSA, thus hopefully ending the Yankee-Socialist War (as this war is known in the SUSA).

Again, Virginia is not familiar with this Eastern barbaric logic that dictates one must be present for one to understand a situation.

Its not Virginia's blind hatred for Georgia which blinds us, its China's blind loyalty to an alliance she doesn't fully understand that blinds her.

How can Virginia say there were no cooperation issues when they surrendered their ally to the Communist hordes?

The Treaty of Baton Rouge caused cooperation issues. Your argument before, and I quote "As we stated earlier, it is obvious the real reasons for the Allied losses are their lack of cooperation and trust of one another." Losses, implying battlefield losses, in which case your argument is false because we suffered no cooperation issues between the allies (only one which included your ally) during the war.

I grow weary of explaining your own logic to you.

OOC: And in some cases, even the update can be misleading. All in good fun hey :).

To tell you the truth, we weren't even aware we were fighting SUSA. If peace is not acceptable to the communists, we shall continue the war. Virginia will not make anymore concessions, we have done enough already.

To Allies Fighting Against UCNA
From Virginia

Just to be clear, the major combatants of agreed to the Treaty of Baton Rouge. Louisiana, Algonquin, New England, and the UCNA have all agreed to ratify the treaty. Please, think twice about the situation. Contact me by PM or AIM if you would like to discuss it.

Hi I'm new to these forums. I was recommended to this thread by a friend and would like to eventually participate in this NES. I am subscribing and will try to become familiar with the story and rules so that I will be able to participate at some point.

We do not ask for more concessions. All that we ask is that we be included in the language of the treaty. We do not want war any more than you do. If Venezuela had not been foolish enough to attack us, we would have focused on domestic efforts purely.

Your betrayal was a blatant intentional land grab, may God help you if we ever get to Savannah.

Good for you that your joing this NES. Now, granted that this world is prity screwed up right now, but I'm trying to have peace talks to end the War in the Americas.

OOC: The "Commies" have probably been the most tolerant of you throughout the thread. Be careful what you say OOC. It's an acronym meaning "Out Of Character", and means that what you are saying is your own opinion. That could be taken as a personal attack against the players who are running the ISCG, which would be taken quite offensively. Starting vendettas is NOT a good idea. You don't want to make personal enemies.
