Your Ruling Cabinet and deputy leaders:
President: TheDuckOfFlanders
Information Officer (Vice President): CornMaster (Deputy Info Officer: Poto)
Military Leader: AoA (Deputy: Fayadi)
City Planner Leader: spycatcher34 (Deputy: knowitok)
Diplomacy Leader: Hippo (Deputy: .:KNAS:.)
Science Leader: dreadhead7 (Deputy: Sixchan)
Trade Leader: Endureth (Deputy: SharThal)
Expansion Leader : goodyhut (Deputy: animepornstar)

Now...each turn in the game will equal one real day. Except in the early game where the President will play out many turns in a row because little discussion is needed. He will report back to the forum as necessary. So the inital term is going to be much shorter then the rest...and I may have a poll that asks if we need to elect new departments leaders....because not much will have been done to this point.

But after the first turn....one real day = one turn.

The information officer is in charge of collecting info from all department heads and organizing it for the President so he can play the game. It's also the Information Officers duty to run the Elections

I was under the impression that Deputies were selected by the Ministers. Is this what you meant, or am I off base?

For the first term...that is what I decided. But no one was picking. So I accepted volunteers.

In all other terms, the runner up in the election will become deputy by default.

SharThal.....yes, you are the trade deputy.

i want a better title than deputy. maybe not-shot-by-bob-marley of expansion animepornstar.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be a Diety game either way...we can vote on that once we get our forum.

The cabinet is voting on what version of Civ to play.....3 votes are in, 5 still outstanding. And no hints until they are all in.

the cabinet is made up of only the dept. leaders, the president and the information officer, right?

edit: oh and btw we should have a 9th cabinet member to make draws more difficult

Diety? On Civ3? I can see it on Civ2, but I think it may be a bit of a stretch. On Civ3 I just shudder.

One other thought, If we roleplay our civilization we may not always do the optimal thing for the game. If we don't play optimally we'll get crushed on diety in Civ3.

I'm up for anything, but if we play deity on Civ3 and get crushed, we may loose a lot of our participation for a second try.

I notice the poll is neck and neck for civ2 / civ3.

If Civ3 is the choice, make sure I am on the list.

The decission of appointing historians to the court is really a responsabilety of the President.I will appoint the historian (if he is good to possitively reflect the action's of my glorius rule :D )
"advice" my leader's of pressing matter's in our civ.

I think a historian would be a great thing. Someone has to record theese historic events to the afterworld.

Historians, make yourself heard and let the President decide who will be the chosen one!

Proposed city names based upon the names of our founding fathers:

Flanders (Maybe this should be the name of our country)
Cornopolis
Athenae
Catcherton
Hippoville
Dreadburg
Endurence
Goodyshire

Okay, I know they are cheasy, and I firmly believe that those involved should be able to make them more suitable, but I think we should honor those who created the idea and were brave enough to take leadership positions.

Keep in mind that if they err....Well, lets just say that you can't find Stalingrad on the map anymore.;)

Indeed we want to personalize these name's a bit ,but it's cool to get an idea.Cities founded on the following new voted kabinet will be named after or by people on that kabinet.(I don't think the first administration will found all city's)
I propose that we name the province's after the first gouvernors ruling them.
the name of the country ,that's something that has to be diceded by all voter's but probably something after this site ,like civfanatica or whatever.

34 members. Were aiming for 50.Once the forum is ready ,and the announcement has been made ,there will probably more than 50 people that want to play. Most of the members come out of the OT forum ,we have never posted a thread on the civIII forum with a link ,so there are probably plenty of regullar poster's that yet havn't noticed this thread before.

Posting a thread on the civIII forum isn't nessecary though ,when the anouncement has been made ,we'll have plenty of users ,who knows ,maybe even that much that we might considder multiplaying it.Although it would be early for that.

Cornmaster has a post on the first page of this thread with all the info in.Use it as reference.
