ENDGAME
Riedquat and spaceman98 were alone in a room overlooking the plaza.
‘I knew it could onry be you who was kirring arr of those peopre!’ Riedquat began, so angry that he did not even bow before addressing the figure on the other side of the tatami.
spaceman98's attention was focused solely on a beautiful magnolia bloom that had been left by her door.
‘You firthy murderous woman! How dare you ignore me!’ Riedquat-san was shaking with anger. The other person ignored him.
‘I vote for you to be rynched, spaceman98-me!’
The almost impossible beauty of the flower still held spaceman98 enthralled.
‘Now, now, what is all this?’ The Prefect of Takigahara said, entering the room with several policemen.
‘It is her, I terr you! She is out kirring peopre, she is gai-jin, she is baka!’
‘Indeed she is. She got careless last night, and we followed her home after she inveigled her way into Sprig 二-san's bed and killed him in his sleep, the poor unexperienced fellow.’ the prefect replied. ‘Take her away, men, and make sure that she does not escape.’
‘Take her… away? Prefect-sama, the garrows is onry that way-’
‘We're keeping her alive for a prisoner exchange. She is wanted in Russia for several crimes. In return, they will extradite Sanjiro the ninja, who was captured two days ago during a smuggling raid.’
‘But, but, sir…’
‘Relax, my man. Your help was instrumental in eliminating these dangerous criminals. You will be justly rewarded and we will hold the flower festival after all…’
Everything happened as the prefect said. spaceman98, known among criminal circles as 'Tatyana', was extradited to Russia. Sanjiro was returned to Japan and tried for his crimes. His dōjō never lent him any help, because he was such a dishonourable ninja.
All the innocent people who had been killed during the past fortnight were given honourable funerals, except for Zack and Verarde, whose bodies were never found. It was speculated that they, too, might have been ninja who faked their own deaths in order to escape.
A full apology was issued to the Korean government for the unnecessary lynching of their agent, although the Koreans agreed that next time they would notify Tōkyō to avoid such misunderstandings…

I was under spacemans98's charmsRiedquat used an ability last night on spaceman98 that prevented him from voting in the next day (i.e. Day Seventeen). The mafiya were screwed anyway. If spaceman had targetted Riedquat, Sprig would've blocked spaceman successfully. If he had targetted Sprig, Riedquat would have gotten a default win by having one vote to zero of spaceman's.
Of course, Sprig and/or Riedquat might have targetted each other, but that was not the case.

I won a game as town when we were 2:2, as the other townie daykilled a Mafia and we voted the other one, then the other townie died as a result of.his ability leaving me the only one left.

Well played everyone. Here was our QT http://quicktopic.com/51/H/GHrkW3VG9mq. Victory for me was extremely unlikely for some time now, both due to some early bad luck (SamSniped's untimely demise) and due to some later misplays (If Calein had killed someone on the night he wasn't blocked, we would have won).
Also, I've realized something: I am literally Milady de Winter in this game. In commemoration of my (almost) victory, I am changing my avatar to her until further notice.
Overall, I feel like this game had too many roleblockers. A bulletproof roleblocker simply shouldn't exist at all, except in extreme cases. Other than that, it was an interesting setup, and certainly worth playing to the end. Thank You Tak for GMing this marathon game, and seeing it through to the bitter end.

My whole strategy this game was basically seducing first Zack, then Sprig to get myself into the town network, and hopefully make myself a trusted townie. It worked remarkably well IMO

...I'll have you know I was seriously helping town when I was the only Yakuza left. I was basically a serial killer at that point and realized that I wouldn't last the game... >.>
I seriously had spaceman98 as Mafiya that day, and he was next on my kill list, along with JohannaK (the Korean). Turns out everyone who rang suspicious rang suspicious to me for good reason. Oh, except for edse, but it was either him or JohannaK that night; I picked wrong.
We Yakuza got pretty screwed by luck, and we could apparently be hit by friendly fire? I mean, did Verarde really cause our attack to hit one of our own? That seems a bit... unfair. >.<

GG everybody. First half was an absolute scum slaughterhouse, second half saw Spaceman mastering his roleblock town cover and almost go all the way.
