Okay, can you turn on python logging in your Civilization4.ini for me? (It's in the Documents/My Games/Beyond The Sword folder)
Then load one of those mapsripts up. Then put your logs folder in a zip and upload them here. (Logs are Documents/My Games/Beyond the Sword)

It's the right folder, but you need to turn on python logging in your CivilizationIV.ini.
There are specific directions here.
Thank goodness! I was surprised by this bug and clicked on future tech (even though I hadn't even researched astronomy yet) -- and not only got ALL the techs--I was able to research through to Future Tech 10625 (or something like that).

Good information to know. I've modified Multiple Research to not do anything if you are researching the future tech.

I was just about to do exactly thatWar Prizes should be working fine. If you want to test, change the odds to 100% or replace the random call with "true"...
Also some python that I am writing for SubdueAnimals is not being called at all. I am still chasing it up but it is StrategyOnly's code which was working. I have just put in some comments, traces and some style/efficiency stuff. The traces show that it is not even getting to the first line of the onCombatResult so is not called.

QUESTION: In a Play Now game, i get each civ once i meet them to ask if they want to Establish an Embassy and in a Custom Game this NEVER happens??
They are not working for me either.Have you reported it to the BUG team?
Does the "Play Now" option turn on Advanced Diplomacy? If not, that would explain why.
They work fine with RevDCM 2.70 and BUG 4.3, so it's something I've done. But I spent a couple hours checking and rechecking my merge of the python files and I didn't spot any errors, and there are no python exceptions.
The no python exceptions doesnt mean that something isnt wrong with the python, example, i tried to re-do The Immigrants modcomp and was doing fine, but for some ODD reason, i'd get no errors in the logs or anything, but as soon as an immigrant entered another city, it didnt work correctly or crashed.![]()
