I honestly think lynching BigTin is a poor move and a waste of time, I think we both agree on that much. I would much rather see BSmith or Mergle put to the lynch than him.

And I agree that BigTin is not a decent lynch here. May I be lynched if that proves to be incorrect.


I'd vote Mergle, BSmith, or Kennigit here. Possibly others if there were a decent convincing post made.

This post strikes me as very anti-town and demoralizing. It's clear that that's not what ATPG was saying. Why try to get him lynched?

edit- also I would raise "probably" to "definitely", at least in regards to bsmith. I really fail to see much scummy by bsmith, at least not in comparison to many many others. And some mafia people lub to come in and act all logical when they really aren't (for instance, jht vote is really a waste. plus zack was pretty scummy in the posts above jht). I would apply this to zack for being pretty flinchy early on in the game and posting way to much "well X is a good player but...." in his posts, but if he is mafia I have to let him live longer for at least contributing to the game. As opposed to someone like myself.

Oh zack, plus you know you're being just as distracting as this whole bsmith/atpg argument with your scummy little "look at 0.091 * .13". You know the ninja vote wasn't random at all (he very scummily posted, e'er since day 1 flinching with "omg lynching inactives soooo help the town").

many people, myself included, immediately criticised that post.

if people want to suspect me, I'll use that as my evidence more than my late vote on ninja. Mafia partners often don't directly criticise their teammates.

Me there? I just voted myself because, well, so many people voting for me, noobie, day 2... I got anxious, made a defensive move and that's it... And I was voting Ninja before that.

Oh, and my voting BigTin isn't just OMGUS. Ninja voted for me. Ninja was a mafioso. Given that I was a townie alternative (given that I am a townie, if you still doubt), it is probable that someone voting for me, especially in a balance-breaking vote, is a mafioso too, whether if it is to save Ninja or to create an alternative wagon (that would be voting for me at the beginning). So, as BigTin voted breaking the tie, it is possible that he is a mafioso (and he is going to be lynched anyway).

To Kennigit: Yeah, the vote on JoanK was a mistake. He's new and all that, and I definitely should have cut him some slack.
Voting Zack seemed like it made sense at the time, but the more I think about it, the more it doesn't make any sense.
So, I'll unvote: Zack and Vote: BSmith. Among other things, post 176 strikes me as scummy. "How am I acting like a scumbag? I honestly don't see it." I've noticed that I, along with other people, I'm sure, never use the word honestly as town and almost always use it when they're scumbags trying to seem innocent.

ironically, I thought your vote on zack was a redeeming vote for your scumminess landlubber for reasons (poorly) elaborated by me above. it's the "that's very anti town" wording that is wrong.

also, maybe a bit understandable but disappointing that like 1/2 of bigtin votes are only in the format vote: bigtin (this is not my vote). JHT, Darth, Yoshi with some others (verarde, jarrema, daveshack) posting not much more.

anyways, although I have a vote for landlubber let it be known I support the bigtin lynch.

No, not really. A lot of it seems either OMGUS or one person makes a small mistake and then gets dogpiled for it.

I'm waiting for either a convincing scummy scum scum argument, or going to come up with one of my own after a bit more observation.

And the probability thing showed that there is an extremely low chance of lynching two mafia two days in a row this early. Thus, it's likely that the top lynch candidates for today are innocent.

Now that I look at this post more, I'm liking BSmith as a lynch candidate more.

Trying to save Ninja or something? is what really bugs me. As in, "I know Ninja is mafia, why aren't you voting for him like I am? How suspicious of you!"

Looking back, I see ATPG very briefly mentioned that part, but instead chose to really hone in on the timing of BSmith's vote. Trying to save Ninja or something? should be the focal point of the case, IMO.

I think you're overestimating how much it changes the odds, but changing the odds considerably from 1% still puts it at extremely low odds.
