So I tried to figure out what's going on with yandex maps, but the only search results I'm getting is this thread

Pretty sure Yandex is dead wrong, as those lakes would be visible on a world atlas, and I've never seen them anywhere else before

Yandex gets 2 of the great lakes wrong, lake ontario according to them doesn't even exist, and lake erie is 50% smaller than it should be.

They're all on acid or something.
