A lot of Indians migrated to the Guyanas some time ago IIRC. According to wikipedia at least, those are correct figures.

Nonetheless, that one map showing major religions in the world is weird because I'm pretty sure Christians are a majority and Hindus a minority...

I'm not so sure. There are many more prominent strongly religious people in the US, that is true. But large parts of Canada are rather religious as well, and significant portions of both the US and Canada aren't very religious.

couldn't find one for Canada.

Texas should be black. :p

What's the jazz with the Buddhists in Astrakhan? And what are these 'Chinese religions' we always see referred to?

That Hindu one is strange, the Guyanas and Greendland?

There's no data on Greenland.

Oh why do the North East + Pacific coast + Florida not succeed from USA?

Meh, they're just stupid religious differences, not worth seceeding over. Although I do wonder how Alaska is least religious if they elected Sarah Palin as governor.

And Texas should be beyond black. :p

That's Kalmykia. The Kalmyks are a group originally from the Mongolia region that I believe settled there as a response to being pushed out in the 14th or 15th century.

Chinese religions are Confucianism, Taoism and different forms of ancestor worship. I find it odd they have those listed as separate while not distinguishing between Japanese and Korean religions.

these tribal areas should be converted to Christianity.

also the Czech rrepblic needs a religion. fast. i recommend Christianity.

(and dont start a debate, its shown that Christianity is clearly near all those areas)

Err.....no

Wikipedia said:
The Czech Republic, along with Estonia, has one of the least religious populations in all of Europe. According to the 2001 census, 59% of the country is agnostic, atheist or non-believer, 26.8% is Roman Catholic and 2.5% is Protestant.[38] According to the most recent Eurobarometer Poll in 2005,[39] 19% of Czech citizens responded that "they believe there is a God" (the second lowest rate among European Union countries after Estonia with 16%),[40] whereas 50% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force" and 30% said that "they do not believe there is any sort of spirit, God or life force".

WTH is with this religion map in regards to Russia? Why parts of it are grey, parts are colored? Did they want to say that Murmansk, Archangelsk and all other cities in "grey" area are totally atheistic, but other cities, like St. Peters, are not (which is complete nonsense)? I demand an explanaton!
