Right. So, is there any way that Confucius could gain control of China, if he wanted? Maybe starting a popular rebellion that recentralizes control around him, or something. But by the time he's old and influential enough to actually win a rebellion, he won't be able to marry and have Confucius II, so there's a succession crisis there.

IMHO there were no preconditions for any such a rebellion - a large-scale rebellion, anyway - in place at the time. Confucius' support base is too narrow, and to expand it he would have had to make all too many concessions.

Hmm, my mistake then. I suppose he wouldn't have been able to pull off a rebellion, especially so early. What if he had died at birth, though? Buddhism and Taoism would exert a much stronger influence on Chinese society, I suppose. But what would this do politically, I wonder...

I do feel pity for Bactrasha... First starting out as dirt poor steppe nomads, driven off their lands by the Han Army fleeing west fought with Mongke against Ban Chao but was still defeated and still continued west to eventually found the Bactrashan Empire.

Then somehow being able to piss off all their neighbors and their own people... Having their capitol burned down by soldiers from Indochina's a shock too

Hey, I got gangraped when I was Rome. Carthage, Byzantium, emu's random Greeks, the Gallic tribes of the north, das' economic system, Dacia when they had to go off and fight you, leaving me hanging right in front of the Punic colossus...

There were a few moments when I really thought the Coalition was going to pull through, though.

You could always start a Roman rebellion if it's restarted, though considering Sheep's efforts to totally eradicate Roman culture, I'm not sure how successful it'll be.

Also you have to consider that the "Roman" People have nearly been reduced to a non-existant population factor as well as the fact that there's probably more Carthaginians in Rome then Romans itself. A conquest of territory by sheer numbers, worthy of China indeed.

For the record, I'm admiring sheep's general handiwork, not it applied to any specific area.

das, do you by chance....save the original stats that you make for your timelines? MjM wants to mod an alternate history, and I cant find the original stats for any of the old ones.

Like, do you have the old Alvarez-Communeros stats, or something like that.
