And he goes for the 2nd amendment!

while private property is defended through disapproving looks and sternly-wagged fingers.

Europeans can be so adorable at times. :)

Tell me more about how property rights should be regulated by whoever owns the most guns, and how commerce and trade can occur if any jerk has the means to interdict them.

It's different because nothing the state does is legitimate, it is only legitimate if you use money to force your convictions in the private markets.

Again, reason why I'm not a libertarian #1001. I'm like "What if the ten largest corporations merge and rule us with an iron fist?"

The response is usually "that couldn't happen." Which isn't very convincing, really.

Dommy has stated that he doesn't like democracy. What he means is he prefers the franchise to be held exclusively by him, and that he will personally interpret the Will of the Free Market in such a way to bring prosperity to All (white middle-upper class men like him).

Nono, he said he likes "libertarian autocracy," which I can only assume means he wants a Lord Protector to defend our republic from the ravenous ignorances of the common person.

"If y'all can read this your in range" Like that?

Unless the noble sport of persecuting the Irish is taken to a new level, he doesn't really want a "Lord Protector".

The intent of that sign is to inform the shooter that he is in range to shoot the librul book-learning sign poster. Luckily, no shooter can read it.

Like any good monetarist...

Hey, sometimes you need to persecute the Irish in order to protect the republic.

Somewhat off topic but the VRWCAgent's picture reminded me all the hard times I've had over the years while trying to explain to Americans (including my relatives) the concept of Every Man's Rights in Nordic Countries (aka the right not to be shot while trespassing). To an extent it has a meaning elsewhere in Europe, too.
For those who are unfamiliar with it here is Wiki article about it.

Generally speaking US should give up this unhealthy fascination towards guns and try to hug a woman (or man) instead of a gun.

"Freedom to roam" laws totally make sense in countries where large swathes of it are wild/forested/unurbanized/etc.

I don't ever see that catching on in the U.S. In the U.S. freedom of property is more important than freedom of movement.

"If you can read this, turn around so I can fully exercise my property rights by shooting you in the back."
Small print: "No, I just wrote this so she could get behind you."

I love the general optimism of my fellow posters and I should probably add that off season hunting is equally prohibited regardless of ownership of the land at least in Finland.
