  • New save format for saving game options, backward compatible with old save format. Prevents order or removal from affecting selected game options.
  • Removed Surround and Destroy game option
  • Removed Advanced Economy game option
  • Removed Arctic and Parks game option (always on now)
  • Removed Meteorology game option
  • Removed divine prophets game option
  • Removed no city limits game option
  • Removed infinite XP game option
  • Increased maximum unit XP from 25 -> 100
  • Removed unlimited national units game option
  • Removed scale city limits game option (always on now)
  • Removed advanced cargo option (always on now)
 
Wow. You're really pushing ahead with this. The comparative brevity of options now is really quite pleasant.

Removed as in "does not show in the custom game options but still exists", correct?

(I like the Surround and Destroy mechanic)
 
With this last update my field generals are no longer accumulating experience points when friendly forces, in their zone of control influence, win battles against Revolting Barbarian forces. Is this something removed also?

Mmm, sounds to me like a problem with options being removed and hence some other options being activated/deactivated accordingly by mistake. I'll run some test.
 
I don't have the option to creat a great commander.

I think the AI wasn't able to creat one either, there was 1 Great General in a city I took, but I didn't take any notice of promotions, Noted the Great General name, worry about the rest, just killing the city and its units.

Same as above, which rev are you running IPEX?

Sorry, I've checked, they are at their usual place... no idea why you don't see them. It's just a couple of files in their default folder, nobody touched them. Anyone else reporting combat wombat problem?
