@dbkblk Yeah I now, but I tested shipdit's save named "oops" and this save also crashed for me.
@Afforess: How to debug a recurrent crash for others that does not crash for me ? Any idea?
Just a thought: does anyone know for sure whether a 2GB machine can handle a large (one up from standard) map, and if not, would it be expected to CtD somewhere around 2200BC on the slowest game speed?
Afforess, you da man. Loaded a couple of my earlier saves, turned on max units per tile - hey presto, no CtDs.![]()
@team: Is there a problem with realistic timescale ? When I simulate a game (AIAutoplay) in quick speed, I've already discovered Flintlock at 654 BC.

It's been already proposed and discarded. Some players don't like the idea (I'm one of them to tell the truth)And what if we removed the date on the interface ? What does it bring to the game if turns are already there ?
