It really all depends on what he's angry about on a particular day. If he's going off on immigration, then he'll yell about the Mexicans. If he's mad at Hollywood and show business that day, then yes, he might go out of his way to defend Kobe Bryant.

Well, he's right on the Arabs, even the ones here don't bath enough. Pay attention to the amount of violent crime committed by illegal aliens & you might get some outrage of your own.

If you ever actually listened to Savage you would know he speaks well of the Mexicans & how they have family values. He only rails on illegal immigration. You come up with some unsubstantiated quote & I was just attempting to put it in context for you. Do yourself a favor & actually listen to the show for just one week so that when you speak about it you will not be ill informed.

Sure, like I said before I agree with some of what he says but he doesn't have to be such a meanie about it. That's mostly why I don't like Savage. He's funny as hell, but he goes out of his way to hurt people's feelings with playground-style insults rather than hard facts and truth.
Fine you don't believe me? Did you listen last night? 9-11 to 9-15. Fats Domino - Blue Monday. He just came off surgery, says he just had to do the show, and asks us to forgive him if he makes a mistake somewhere because he's still coming off it. He says it's the worst economic event of a century, which to him means it's worse than the '29 crash. I think whoever said that actually meant this century, but whatever, he said he might screw up. Says he watched CNBC from 4 O'clock in the morning until he came to do the show, and wants to know who profited from this thing and why the media and the people of America aren't clamoring for an investigation. Take them out and shoot them, as always.
The only NPR I listen to is Car Talk, and that may as well not count.

Did someone sincerely say that talk radio leads to violence? I've heard plenty of people say that it's ******** for various reasons, including myself, but leading to violence?

Well talk radio might be a different case. A rational person can distinguish the fantasy of TV, movies and video games from reality. However, a talk show host is a real person saying real words not usually meant for entertainment. It's sort of like saying that the words of a rally leader might inspire violence.
