Research is off but a single scientist tell me that computers, Mech Inf., is 16 turns off. With only 28 years to go thats not much time but well work it for 1gpt nevertheless.
We have very little in the way of cash. Unit cost is zero but maintenance on our cultural buildings is ~40% of our budget.
How to grab land? Were 129 tiles from victory so we need a 5/tpt (tiles per turn) pace. Bedes pace the past five turns was very nice.
Time to reread the thread and glean sage advice.
Foment war w/ Germany? Sure, they have but a single Panzer.
Tech stealing? I dont see how that will help us at this point unless the objective is to start a war.
Im going to investigate culling some infrastructure items out of our core to increase our cash flow and then survey the cities to propagandize.

Any build thats more than more than 28 turns gets scrutinized.
Were on the hairy edge of having to pay maintenance on our forces so Im working under the assumption that shiny, new units replace older units. Therefore, we dont need anything more than core cities generating units.
There will be no more rushing of units or infrastructure in the homeland because we need the cash for propaganda.
Argh! I really wish I could put a stop to Sun Tzus because we have to have 70 barracks that are doing us no good whatsoever.
I dont see a Space victory as a threat. Cleos building 2 but then will need another 6.
I think we can get as many as 8 cities in the Russian neck tundra.

I would like to also foment war w/ England and starve down their cities to make them better targets for culture and flips. However, they do have 7 tanks and 67 infantry.
IBT:
Romans send a few guerrillas on suicide missions.
Avaris (Egypt) flips to us and we pick up 11 tiles.
The Germans put two battleships in our waters which will give us a nice opportunity to get them to declare.

IBT: Egypt landed what looks like an attack force next to Hamburg. I guess they're pissed about Aravis.

Moving more settlers around Rome.
Egypt declared war!! Let's hope she drags the Germs into this fray.
Egypt: 4 tanks, a war chariot, and a cavalry.
Arty takes off 7 total hps.
We attack w/ our lone tank on the German continent and kill a ¾ tank and then our ¾ tank dies leaving a ¼ tank in its ashes.
IBT: Egypt loses two bombers and most of their invasion force. We lose an infantry to a Roman guerilla escorting a settler.
The citizens of Newcastle, size 12, have flipped! We show our gratitude by starving them.
Turn 4 2026 AD
99 tiles to go!
Lots of troop movements including a landing on Egyptian soil to wreak havok.
No transports ready on the home continent so new builds get sent to Newcastle to quell flip probability.

Maneuver forces to keep flip risks as low as possible.
Notes:
36 Tiles gained. Many more than expected.
Watch the Egyptian Battleship (1/4) and transport near Aravis. We really could use a few more units over there.
