Since I think its safe to assume you havent been in a cave for the last week, I will merely call your attention to all the 'trash' that has been said about Palin since the announcement of her being the republican veep.

McCain does have a lot of experience....but you are correct it is legislative experience, not executive experience.
Its just a simple fact that Palin has more executive experience than McCain, Obama or even Biden. She has actually had to implement policy where they have merely had to debate it.
I agree that there has been a lot of crap, but not from Obama (other than the experience and maybe some on the toopergate and earmarks - all legitimate). Obama came right out and said that families are off limits. I am assuming that the family stuff is what you are referring to by trash?
I think a lot of it is because she was a completely unknown, so everyone is trying to find everything out about her all at once and competing for the same space. Her background is also a little unconventional to the standard high profile public figure, so that causes some extra commotion.
Name one policy she has implemented.

McCain has had plenty of executive experiance as an O6. More than Obama and Biden anyway.
Btw, Palin is not embroiled in any corruption scandel, there is nobody of any consequence (including national democrats) that believes any of the political invenstigations against here will do anything but prove her credentials as an anti-corruption reformer.

Actually, when Obama was talking about her experience as Mayor he also continually mispronounced the town itself by calling it 'Wa-silly'.
Simple error or purposeful mispronunciation?
Obama isnt the only dem, correct, just as Rudy isnt the only republican.

Romney's speech was pretty bad, but I actually thought that Huckabee was pretty gracious.
But yeah, I agree that Guiliani's speech was cheap political trash talk. The stuff about Obama voting 'present' was especially bad - every Senator votes present on some votes, including John McCain. That was a non-point at best, a petty deception based on a half-truth at worst. Fact is that McCain has missed more votes in the current Congress than Obama has. There was alot of negative stuff in these speeches.

No. Obama didnt run the town. His experience wasnt and never will be executive experience, regardless of whatever revisionist history you desire.
One infrastructure bill that moved the profits from one donor to another. Not really overwhelming. If you can't get a pipeline deal passed in Alaska, you are doing something wrong. Anything more compelling than a run-of-the-mill infrastructure deal? Anything where she overcame stiff opposition to get it passed? Because they don't play beanbag in the U.S. Congress.

She ran a town of 8500 into 20 million in debt. For what? What possible experience can you glean from such a small town, in an isolated part of the country, that doesn't face any of the same issues that a large midwestern city does. I never claimed his experience was executive, only that his interactions with the world at an organizational level definitely have more relevance to the entire country. And he didn't screw the community over like she screwed the city over.
For any of you ignorant of what Obama has done in his political career, perhaps you need to stop being force fed by forum members and actually go look it up yourself. Obviously we aren't getting through to you.
