Obama was apparently accountable and responsible enough that the entire state of Illinois pushed him into the Senate. Any politician is accountable to their constituents and the fact of election and re-election is a testament to that. The people of Illinois liked what they saw in Obama.

Jack Ryan was giving him a run for his money in the 2004 senate race. Obama should count his lucky stars that his ex-wife released some statements.

Any "contest" between Obama and Keyes would be a landslide.

I suggest you learn the difference between the executive and legeslature and what they do and then perhaps it would be worth it to discuss this line further with you.

Congressmen are not responsible or accountable for the functions of government. No matter what the EPA does, even if the laws and procedures they were following were drafted by Congressmen, those Congressmen bear no responsibility for or accountablity for anything that department does. It is the nature of the seperation of functions.

Again, your utter and total ingorance of all things military, including leadership training, isnt something that one is likely to forget...ever. He was a Captain in the Navy (one rank below Rear Admiral) and in service for 23 years.

He commanded a training flight squadron and under his leadership the unit won its first ever Meritorious Unit Commendation. Thats an exceptional leadership feat.

Again, the only person not keeping up with the facts here is you.
