What would have been nice if Civfanatics kept everything the way it is now and have all of apolyton's users come here.

I think that is slowly happening. I'm here. . Patience man, patience.

Though I have no intention of leaving poly. I used to post at these alpha centauri forums right up until the bitter end. Sad to see it go. Some internal conflicts with the site owner caused a mass exodus. Even without that, it was on its way down.

Not that poly is heading that way soon. But I'm starting to see some worrysome signs.

I think that the people at Poly get some great work done, like the work on CtP II source code. I'd hate to see it all lost because of some stupid hacker (CATHARSIS! ). I've got an account there, but have never posted since the forum organisation and skin just confuses the heck out of me. Would be nice to see more of their guys over here.

What's with all these new sites turning up all over the place? Reminds me of the USSR - you never realise how dangerous it is until it starts breaking up.

No, I can assure you, you've got it all wrong! I did not hack that site with this computer. That depends what your meaning of 'is' is. My dog ate it. I didn't hear the whistle.
