Constantly. Its great for my self esteem, because no matter what, I always win the debate.
Is that a "Socratic Method" that you are instigating?I always lose![]()
Either I'm two really really good debaters, or two really really sucky ones.Is that a "Socratic Method" that you are instigating?![]()

Frequently - usually between the "desire" and "realist" parts of my personality.
I wonder which one wins the most?

Sounds like a crappy way to excuse posting self-contradictory (My thoughts don't rise to the level of full debates, but I do have 'facets' to my personality. I describe myself as having "mild self-induced multiple personality schizophrenia". It's a handy way to trump cognitive dissonance by instead letting one part think one thing and another part think one thing. Of course, each part has its own agenda, one part denies that there are parts but think that they're useful for describing how I think, and the part that thinks this is silly is just that, a part, so another part of me is free to disagree. Every part is of course meta to an arbitrary number of levels since it's responding to the others. There may be a part responsible for keeping track, but it's not the one typing this post, and so "I" am not required to be consistent about it here and now.
