Trust me I've done the whole "meet new people try new things have fun tons of fun too much fun broaden my horizons" and I can say life's better when you have someone good to spend it with. Even someone who isn't that exciting as long as she makes you happy.
I know excitement. It's overrated.

I beg to differ. Only strange vaginas are disgusting. But when you are with someone you love deeply, it's the most beautiful thing in the world. I'm beginning to realize that it is possible that I am not a lovable person. In that, it's not possible for any woman to love me in a romantic way. I've been trying to turn my friends with benefits situation into a real relationship for the longest time. And today, after talking with her, I've come to the realization that will never happen. I have never had a gf, or any woman that wanted to make a life with me. I finally find someone to sleep with me, but they still don't want me as a bf.

Because that is not conducive to the rearing of human children, who, unlike in other species are born relatively immature and in need of specialized skills that require years of teaching in order to be able to survive and function.
