In real life, I'm a pretty humble person. The more I read these forums though, the more stuck up I feel.

It's funny, I don't think myself stuck up, I try not to act chilly (as in icy) towards other people, but I seem to scare or intimidate most people on first sight... on the plus side I usually get plenty of personal space around and it's been a long time since anybody tried cutting in on a line in front of me.

Nah, I'm not a RL bear - in any sense of the word. Actually, bears are mostly solitary animals, and I'm not very social myself. So... your joke is not that much off the mark. I do fear that upon first meeting me some people take my reserve to mean that I'm "stuck up", dismissive of them.

I have professional and emotional boundaries with people who aren't friends and family, i.e. 99% of the population. Doesn't mean I can't treat them with dignity, respect, and good humor, but I'm probably not going to be immediately chummy with someone I don't know in a personal capacity.
