all are from India I think. I would say ballywood asoka is probably not accuarate at all haha. Im think both one and two are the best, I think I will do number two because I dont want to do a mostache and he looks coolr I think

Its ok, I trust your judgement Shiro. This guys probably going to look like a classical Hindu-Style prince...I'm looking forward to it... :goodjob:

Theres that King who invaded Ayuthaya in the movie Suriyothai...other than him I don't know who would make a decent Burmese Leader.... :(

I know the photo you mean, #1 and #2 are the only pictures I could find of Asoka too. Personally I'm a fan of #1 but #2 is good too (if it's the one I'm thinking of).

As for Burma, probably the most famous leader was Anawrahta. I couldn't find any pictures of him at all though :(

This sounds great! :goodjob: I'm especially looking forward for Ashoka. IMHO you should use the historical version.

Don't know if this is useful, but here is a picture of Burma's last monarchs King Thebaw and Queen Supayalat:

Finding an Ainu leader could be difficult, because IIRC they had rather a tribal society.

Don't you think it would be a good idea to have two different Indian leaders? Ashoka representing the early Hindu period and Shah Jahan or someone else representing the islamic Moghul period. And why not an Indus Valley leader.

The Harappans (i.e. Indus people) did have a script, but we cannot read it.

That's just the problem about the Harappans: We know hardly anything about them. So it would probably be pretty difficult to make a Harappan leaderhead. I understand if this idea isn't popular, it was just my thought.

The Harappans did indeed have a writing system, but one that we have sadly not deciphered yet:

However we do have this statue of what is most probably a ruler or priest:

We don't know any leader's names, but the Rig Veda is a possible source though I haven't read it yet. But how about a Asoka dressed up like this Harrapan priest in the ancient era and as himself in the Middle Ages? Then as a Mughal in the industrial era. Slightly anachronistic but very versatile!

As for inventing Anawrahta, here's a couple of images of soldiers and priests from his era that might help:

Best I could find unfortunately.

yeah I like R8FX's suryoyhai, its actually my favorite of his work. But I want to make some female leaderheads. And I think her story is cool ^ ^;;

I didnt know the indus civilization had a writting system, was it before or after the invasion of the aryans? Asoka lived in 200 bc right? thats a little early for medivel times, I was thinking a mugal king with the taj mahal in the background for medivil times, indust I have no idea, and modern maybe just a guy in a suit

How about doing Empress Wu or Lady Hao for China? Empress Wu was a usurper (and pretty ruthless ;) ), but she was a very capable administrator despite her more questionable acts as Empress. If I recall correctly, Lady Hao was one of the wives of one of the Shang kings. She wasn't just any ordinary concubine; she led entire armies of tens of thousands of Shang soldiers.

What about the Philippines? Corazon Aquino would make a great LH!

...AND: She's female! ;)
