why dont women realize that what they wear dosent change the way they look? im talking about clothes here, make up dose make them alittle prettier.

Actually, clothes do make a difference. They also say things other than about looks: a miniskirt and bra at a party says that you have an excuse for introducing yourself. A pair of tracksuit bottoms and a baggy jumper gives you another excuse, but what you do will be different: you'll assume that she's ill, going to bed soon, just coming to watch a friend or something similar.

Not true. Abaddon is often trying to coax me into smaller clothing than I would normally choose. and he often notices clothes or dramatic makeup on other people and points it out. *cough* gay *cough*.

some women will put so much thought and effort (and usually money) into their clothes and shoes, do they know it dosent really change their looks?

do you know that the only people who care about that stuff are other women?

unless youre gonna tell me women want to look beautiful for themselves? (and if you do tell me that, ill nod and pretend to belive you )

It may not change the way you look, but it can change the way you feeel about the way you look, and a woman that feels more confident almost always is more attractive to everyone! so I think thats why so much effort goes in, a killer outfit can make you feel ten times better.

nooooo, the difference between the track suit and the mini skirt, isnt that they change the way the female wearing them (the girl looks exactly the same in both, only in the track suit you cant really see how she looks) the difference is the amount of cloth.

the mini skirt is sexy cause its not much in the way of clothing, im sure youd agree a (beautiful) naked girl is sexier than in a short skirt, which proves my point.

feeling attractive is all good, im all for that, but no feeling attractive dosent make a girl more attractive, not to boys anyway.

i know how girls like confident boys, but that dosent work the other way around, at least to my knowledge.

a good personality is always good, and extremly important if im planning to get involved in a relationship, but dosent do anything to alter my perception of someones physical beauty. maybe im just a shallow A-hole, but at least im honest.

i will now smile and slowly back away out of this before i get hit with a purse.

And as for sexy.... a fully clothed girl can be many times more sexy than a naked one.

As for liking a girl with confidance.. i guess thats preference, but i certainly like a girl with a good dose of "kickarse"

Seriously, eyeliner and an evening gown is a turn on. A girl who spends time on her appearance will look better, and that includes the clothes and make up she wears, not just staying fit.

Back to the night out with your buddies: my take is that it's important that your GF feels secure with you going out without her. Unless she's insanely jealous she shouldn't have any big issues with it. Being honest about what you're going to do is always better than half-assed lies - if you need to lie and cover up your nights out, are you with the right person anyway?
But this work both ways, of course: you shouldn't do anything that you wouldn't wnat your GF to do. You check girls? Then you should be fine with her checking men... You like to flirt for the sake of it and because you like feeling attractive? Then you should be fine with her flirting too... See what I mean?

It's weird my first marriage my ex didn't have a jealous bone in her body nor do I. Ms. Holly at parties will ask for vivid details of my conversations with other girls. I guess it's one of the relationship compromises.

Some other common themes I'm aware of include talking about what's going on at the venue of choice, to let each other know that their hair looks right, reapply the lips and to be catty about what other women in the bathroom are (or not) wearing.

As well, women's bathrooms are really, really nice compared to the troughs men go into.

Not IMO. If a girl is pretty no amount of ugly clothes can truly blot it out (unless you put a veil on her) and if a girl is ugly you could dress her us like a princess and she'll still be ugly.

Now, obviously a girl can look better in some outfits than others (tight sweaters are nice as are short skirts) but the clothes will never make (or break) the lady.

And as for sexy.... a fully clothed girl can be many times more sexy than a naked one.
