I'm not a girl CG, but I do know that many are turned off by anime and most are particuarly not as interested in it as you. Unless you are specifically aiming to attract an anime-loving girl that is attractive to you and attracted towards you, keeping the anime/manga stuff on the dl might not be a bad idea until she gets to know you better. Or if you must tell her about it, then don't obess over it. Just a tip.

Personaly, I dont care if a girl is turned off by anime. All that matters is that the girl in question accepts me the way I am, including my hobbies and interests.

I don't overly obsess over it anyway in RL.

You should notice that in the anime world there are some stereotypes regarding how one looks/what role he plays. This was mostly developed out of the need to have something appealing to kids, but also out of lack of more complicated plotlines.

Question: How does height factor into looks? Is there a limit, for short or tall for you? Its a small sample of total female opinion, I know, but it doesnt hurt to ask

It's a significant factor as far as looks go. If I'm designing the ideal, he's probably three or four inches taller than me. I'm only about 5'6", so that's not too far out. Of course, height is about as significant as toe length when compared to personality, so don't worry about it.

I'd've refused to go to any all-girls school. They warp your brain. Those movies you watch are warping your brain, too, capslock.

I'm not a fan of anime, btw. It really drives me nuts, and I avoid it at all costs. But it wouldn't be a dealbreaker with anyone.

Who cares if they've got boyfriends or are married. It's not illegal to talk to these women and honestly you could use all the practice you can get. There's zero downside in talking with them since you're not trying to make them a girlfriend but maybe a friend.

For exercise and meeting people have you ever considered learning to crew a sailboat? Great crowd and lots of girls. What are you interested in that put's you in a social situation? Church functions? What?

That's why you have to get to know them to figure out as to whether or not they are single. It doesn't take much to figure out.
