This will be a thread for you guys to ask me (a homeschooler) any questions you may have about homeschooling.
So start asking away!
So start asking away!
Are you by yourself when you're homeschooled, or in a group?
why are you homeschooled?
Do you trust your parents to give an equal or better education than your would receive in either public or private schooling?
Do you have any sorts of problems with social interaction, such as with girls?
Have you ever had to deal with the problem of bullying? Of cliques? Or of peer pressure?
Can you give an example for God Based Education? I'm asking because I'm hoping you won't come up with examples like Young Earth Creationism. If that is the case however, I think it would be best for me to leave the thread before I release my pet-peeveYes, as I have stated above I didn't learn much when I was in school, also another reason we homeschool is because we are christians and want a God based education that Public Schools do not provide.

What is your science curriculum like?

Ever considered asking your parents to have you consider the scientific side of the origins of the universe?
You might wind up getting mocked and reprimanded on these forums for that. A lot of people here like to think that there was no Creation, and will think your education now is completely inferior and that your parents are doing you an injustice.
I have to ask: Why not a private catholic school? Is it a question of money?
how old are you and where do you find friends?
That was kindergarten though right?
You don't have to be catholic to attend catholic school, and you get religious education.
If you "acted out from boredom" and are now homeschooled I suspect there's more to this story. I won't ask further though.
We use a God based computer curriculum from Alpha-Omega productions name Switched-On-Schoolhouse, it contains pretty much everything I do is on there including a bible study set. I never even heard of a YEC before I came here.
