Leatherneck said:Believe me I'm not saying the source is not bias, clearly it happened somewhere. Perhaps the car tag could shed some light as to where it happened. Either way, no civilized people would do that to a child.
I connected to it from http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/ which clearly has a agenda too. As I've said before, somewhere on the beach of BS is a grain of truth, you just have to find it.

Now the question, how many muslim countries have the sharia law in effect? Also, is this law part of the Qu'ran?
Cheezy the Wiz said:I have a question Persian Boy:
Why is it that Sunni and Shiite Muslims hate each other so? From what I understand, the two 'denominations,' for lack of a better word, stem from a disagreement between who would be the next Caliph, and the Sunnis followed one guy and the Shiites another.
So, given the pettyness of such a diasgreement, why is it that the two cannot get along nowadays, it having been so long since said diagreement took place? For example, Catholic and Protestant Christians, when Protestantism was young and first broke from the Catholic Church, they did not get along at all. However, as years turned to decades, and then to centuries, the two now live side-by-side, and think nothing of it. I am Episcopal, a Protestant denomination, and I have very close friends, even family members, who are Catholic, but also who are Baptist, Lutheran, and some who do not believe at all. Yet, despite these theological differences, we still love each other just the same.

I recently read a book called "A Peace to End All Peace: The Fall of the Ottoman Empire and the Creation of the Modern Middle East written by David Fromkin.
The book is about the changes that occurred in the Middle East around World War I.
Do you feel the Middle East would be better off if the Ottoman Empire was still in existence today? Could you read this book if you wanted?
